Good quality and sturdy
Product didn't come with instructions so you do have to google to watch some videos on how to put it together but once you know which piece goes where it's an easy assembly. I actually am using these to hang up baskets from a block wall. I needed a bracket that was strong enough to hold a hanging basket and that could fit over a wide cement block wall. They work great!

Instructions are not provided because they’re unnecessary. Assembly is as easy as a 5-piece child’s puzzle, by looking at the Amazon photos.As with many other creatives here, I had a different purpose in mind. These brackets are flexible in assembly, and provided a singular solution for hanging outdoor furniture covers up to dry (in rain, yet also due to overnight condensation on nice days, inside and out). The covers are too large to dry off, and too wet to store. Our sun is strong in summer, so my lovely, comfortable, new Costco Agio Conway “backyard in a box” furniture needs covering year-round.Until finding this product, I only found fence brackets that hung on a 2” fence top. Mine has a flat 1”x6” horizontal board on top, that requires a 6” wide hook.Rearranged, these perfectly measured 6” on top and stayed put. This picture was my configuration, different than advertised—which is why this product is fantastic and beyond value to me! They fit seamlessly on my fence, with the ability to easily fine-tune their shape and size for the huge furniture covers (separate, researched purchase).I use 6 brackets along the fence to hang the 5 covers. Generous extra nuts and bolts are provided. These brackets are well worth the money, if they serve your need. Well packaged, too.This is one of my go-to products. I hope they continue to be available. I’m going to order a couple more.

Different use than intended
It’s true these come with no directions… Probably because everyone has different size railings. The reason I ordered this is that I wanted to hang my pool equipment on a block wall for the longest time and did not want to drill the wall. After a little bit of configuring it worked perfectly! They should really advertise these for the purpose of hanging something off a block wall because it is amazing! Sorry I can’t answer anything about a planter box hanger because I didn’t try it

Terrible
There’s no instructions so I went by the photo on Amazon. My planters feel like they are going to slip right out of them. I’m going to see if I can attach a tray to the brackets so they are more sturdy.

Worked great
Used this to add a window box in my kitchen for herbs. Easy to assemble. Very strong. Looks good assembled.

Too narrow for my planter.
Only fits small long planters. It’s not adjustable to accommodate bigger planters. Perhaps next year I’ll get a smaller planter but it’s stored away until then.

Does not work like they say it does
Came in pieces with NO INSTRUCTIONS for assembly. Not even a picture. I went to amazon and put together like the pic and it did not work as displayed. If you put a planter on it, it leans forward toward the ground and a little wind would blow it off the rack. Completely unsuitable.
