Can you change out the batteries or is it just a regular hair tie when the battery dies?

It’s just a regular hair tie , they are cheap and end up being thrown out anyway

Thank you for your inquiry, those led hair scrunchies are not waterproof.

how long does the battery last?

Hello, glad to answer your question, the battery can last at least 12 hours.
