The item does not work, I was trying to buy a US head plug as mine is UK and when I got the US type A plug the return time finished so now I am left with a product that does not work

Great product for price, I wish I bought 2!
Got this last week so I can't comment about durability but it's working fantastic so far. I bought this mainly for a future DIY Kalkwasser reactor (reef aquarium), but I have been using it so far to mix up chemicals including kalkwasser, 2 part alkalinity, as well as F2 fertilizer in fresh seawater for phytoplankton. The last one is probably overkill but it's neat to see this spin and get such a clean mix. It does feel well built and my future plans are to put it on a timer so it comes on for a couple of minutes every couple of hours while I dose kalkwasser. Just need to find an appropriate sized container for that. In the mean time I'm using it for anything I need mixed. I would probably recommend getting different sized stir bars, vs the one it came with but very happy with this product.

Love this stir plate
I bought this for my home lab (I do a lot of yeast starters and some basic chemistry), and it’s been a total workhorse. For the price, I wasn't expecting much, but it’s surprisingly powerful. The motor is quiet—you can leave it running for 24 hours and barely hear a hum. I really like that the speed control is smooth; it doesn't just jump from "off" to "tornado." You can dial it in perfectly to get a nice vortex without the stir bar flying off and rattling around the flask (which usually happens with the cheaper plates). The surface is easy to clean and it’s compact enough that it doesn't take up much bench space. It came with a few different sized stir bars too, which was a nice bonus. If you’re tired of manually shaking jars or dealing with inconsistent mixing, this is a no-brainer. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Can't use - has a US plug
I'm sure the Stirrer does the job, but can't if it only has a US plug on the power adapter. What's the point of selling items like this in the UK if it doesn't have a UK plug. Buyer be warned.
