Could this balm cause protein overload? I’m asking because of the coconut oil in it.

In my opinion absolutely not. Unfortunately it does have phenoxethanol though which burns my scalp and can cause sensitivity over time. But are you sure you have an issue with all coconut oil? All the other ingredients are so awesome I wish I could use this.

i have fine, thin, low porosity, frizz prone that does not keep a hold with foams, mousse or jelly.

The Curlsmith in shower style fixer is lightweight, which is great for fine hair that has trouble holding curl. This product has really good frizz control. Tip: leave your hair soaking wet while applying the product. I use this product alone, and I get great curls.

It's an extreme hold styling gel, great to define your curls and keep the hold for long, no matter the weather. Because of its strong hold, it's quite a thick gel, so make sure you use it on soaking wet hair to allow it to coat all strands perfectly! Great for 4c hair types

Starker Halt für Locken ohne crunchy Gefühl

Ich habe sehr dickes, widerspenstiges Haar und viele Produkte lassen meine Locken entweder hart oder frizzig zurück. Der Curlsmith In-Shower Style Fixer überrascht positiv: Anwendung: Lässt sich leicht in nasses Haar einarbeiten, braucht aber etwas Übung bei der Dosierung (bei mir reicht eine kleine Menge). Wirkung: Der Halt ist tatsächlich stark, aber das Haar bleibt flexibel. Nach dem Auskneten wirkt es nicht betonartig. Duft & Gefühl: Angenehm, nicht zu intensiv. Kein beschwerendes Gefühl. Pro: starker Halt, gut für dicke Haare, kein Verklebungsgefühl. Contra: relativ hoher Preis, kann bei zu viel Produkt etwas hart werden. 👉 Fazit: Ideal für alle, die Locken definieren und lange fixieren möchten. Besonders für kräftiges Haar geeignet.
