Columbia Men's Steens Mountain Vest

i love this vest! exactly what i was looking for, light weight, good looking, decent color choices...couldn't ask for more, and a trusted brand as well. i got it cause i don't usually wear a coat in the new england winters but considering my age now, and the super cold temps we've been having, i wanted a vest to just retain some warmth on my body. this is not an arctic rated product by any stretch and i wasn't looking for one. it serves the intended purpose i wanted. it does the job, keeps my upper torso plenty warm and out of the wind while keeping my arms free. paired with a long sleeved tee and flannel shirt, i'm good to go. i wouldn't spend hours outside on single digit temp days with just this vest, but i'm good to go from house to warm truck and back again. short forays on those freezing days. the collar stands tall also to protect the neck. i can use this right through to spring, and maybe on those chilly summer evenings. fits my needs. i found sizing ran true. i got my normal size, 3x. i'm a big guy and hard to fit. i'm glad i didn't get the recommended 2x size, the 3 is great. not snug either, with some room for layers. i'm very happy with this product.

Wore these in Alaska during an abnormally cool period. The weather was 50° to 55° all week (record lows for mid-summer) with about a 80% rain. We wore them as our outer gear and under a light rain jacket when appropriate. We stayed comfortably warm. They rolled up well for a day pack.

It does work as expected, but I didn't understand that it is sleeveless. Still, it suits my needs.

I'm 6'02" 225 lbs and the XL Tall fits me perfectly. I like the fact that the tall goes 3"-4" past my beltline for keeping my lower back warm. I am definitely going to buy a couple more to have on hand. It is only fleece so it's not the heaviest, but I think it will be perfect for cooler weather. I also think it would work great as an extra layer during outdoor winter activities, or for extra warmth while watching TV during the winter time.

Perfect fit. I'm 6,3 and 205lb and it fits perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose.

My husband hates to wear a coat or jacket. He wore this instead all last fall and winter. It's soft and incredibly warm but most importantly it isn't bulky and doesn't restrict your arm movement like a coat can.

True to size, great color, and thick. Looks great on my husband also!

El tamaño que pedí por erro fue XLT (para más altos) pero lo conservamos. Es de excelente calidad el chaleco, muy calientito, suave y cómodo. Si eres muy alto, te recomiendo el agregado de la T en tu talla, son cm que se agradecen.
