Will this scratch acrylic

The seller specifically recommends this product for regular glass, NOT safe for low iron glass or acrylic. I wouldn't suggest using it on soft acrylic, the strength of the magnet and the abrasiveness of the material will likely scratch or dull acrylic.

How long before I have to replace it?

I do not know the answer, but if you clean the part that goes into the tank with a toothbrush it should last a very long time. Also keep the outside of the tank clean and that should last alot longer also.

I have a 150 gallon tank, will this stick with my thick glass?

I don't think so we have a 30 gallon

Do you think I could use it to clean impact windows on the second floor

It's pretty small and does a basic job. Don't know if it would be any good for a cleaning job honestly.

Works - so easy to use :)

The XL product is quite large (see measurements) which supports the cleaning and reduces the number of passes to remove algae. Very strong magnet - be sure to twist when together outside of the tank. Cleans well Pricey buy but I feel worth every penny Could clean closer to the sides of tank but given that no one would want to put undue pressure in that area, that’s actually for the best. I have a 250 l tank - in the process of cleaning algae but this product has made this much easier Would recommend!
