I liked that the product was easy to install, but it has some limitations with Google integration. We have two sectional garage doors, and I ended up buying two iSmartgate mini and though I could voice command both doors. However, there is a limitation that only one Ismartgate mini can be integrated with Google (and I also belive that this limitation is applicable for Alexa).Not a big issue as I use the app to open/close and check status of the doors. The app is a little slow to load.

I originally had an issue when first installed on my Co-Z gate motor but was quickly resolved through tech support.My gate motor came with a 4 button remote but only 1 button was used to open/close/stop the gate. The instructions to install this to my motor showed connecting to comm and cls on my circuit board. However when doing it that way it would only close my gate and not open it so I emailed their support . I received an email back within 24 hours explaining what to do with a reference to the motor manual. All I had todo was change 1 dip switch on the motor circuit board. The instructions state that the new setting makes it 1 button control (which I thought I already had). I changed the 1 dip switch and everything worked perfect. There is not space under the motor cover to mount this unit to help keep it out of the weather. I ultimately took the circuit board out of the ismartgate mini, 3d printed a bracket and mounted it under the motor cover. Where it sits, I have 3 out of 5 bars for wifi which connect sand works good but the app takes a few seconds to connect each time. I have it set up with my google home and barely use the app now. I just tell google to open and close it instead. When using google home, you have to use a 4 digit pass code so someone else can't open or close it.

Works great as described! We can now open and close our business property gate remotely with the slide of a button. It also has a way to set up reminders that the gate is still open. A nice added feature in case we forget to close the gate.

Where to start??? Best $40 I spent for a while. I am willing to pay $$$ to connect my driveway gate to internet. Several vendors were consulted and none provide me a solution. And this save the day. I am really happy. I hope it will last at least two years.

I purchased the “wireless” one for $10 more and read the description that states you “only need to hook it to the gate motor and connect sensors” for it to operate.The unit actually requires a dc power plug. The title and description should be changed to reflect the actual nature of this unit.

Installed on my gate and followed recommended placement, the concept is wonderful 5 stars, the quality and app is 1 star. Product worked intermittently for a month then stopped working all together, the app never worked properly in opening gate or keeping the status of the gate. Went to manufacturer web page to get support, they say 24 response time because all they provide is a email address no phone number. Been weeks now and still no email. I recommend a different manufacturer of auto gate or garagedoor remote operators.
