Safe for adult shrimp but not babies, so I glued old filter sponge around the outside. Seems to have worked and this might also be the reason why I have had no problems with the filter clogging as some reviewers have described. The sucker feet coming off every time you take the filter out is irritating. But I like the two filter compartments, it runs very quietly and keeps the water clean. However, the Dennerle Nano Corner is far better in all respects, that is once you’ve bought the Filter Modul (to add your own filter media) and the Baby Protect screen. So neither filter is perfect out the box. A good sponge filter might be the best option for shrimp only aquariums and people on a budget, but they take up a lot of space. There are sponge filters now that come with their own power head, they are affordable and mine works fine. But can’t speak for reliability, still early days.

Die JLB Filterpumpe funktioniert einwandfrei, man kann sie schnell reinigen, den Filtereinsatz einfach regelmäßig mit Aktivkohle befüllen und man hat immer klares Wasser, super ich würde sie noch einmal kaufen.

La pompe fonctionne, de ce côté là rien à dire mais la quantité de biomasse est ridicule. Autant ne rien mettre... Esthétiquement c'est pas très beau non plus. Pas assez de ventouses pour qu'elle soit fixée bien droite. La puissance du rejet est réglable mais c'est pas très précis, le débit maximal est pas fou.Bref, mis dans un 30l j'ai rapidement changé de filtre.

venturi failed within 2 weeks

C’est le jour et la nuit avec les autres Filtre que j’avais jusqu’à maintenant. changer pour celui-ci car j’avais des problèmes de film Mycodermique. Depuis plus rien, il est très puissant et de plus pour les petits aquarium possibilité de régler celle-ci. Je trouve que JBL font des produits de bonne qualité. Je recommande donc ce filtre sans hésiter malgré son prix un peu élevé.
