I use this to cut my sons apples. It works so well and it's a fun way to get him to eat fruit. Really great and sturdy product. Haven't used it on potatoes but works really well on apples so I'm sure it's a sharp product. Easy to clean and easy to use.

Very easy for kids to use with that grip and much safer for them than a knife. I'm impressed with these; they are tough/sharp enough to handle carrots! The only thing that isnt the best: i wish the handle was solid so that way I could toss them in the dishwasher. That being said, handwashing them is nbd usually.

I do like the design it is quite easy to use. The bad thing is the handle is hollow and holds all the water. The 2nd time I used the pink one the handle broke in my hand. I was not even cutting anything tough. So, though they are easy to use, I am not super impressed with the quality. Side note: if you leave them in the sink the handle holds all the water so be careful when you pick them up.

OK I initially ordered these for my son because he loves to cut things up. But I use them for everything! I even cut baby carrots in half length wise so they are easier to eat. I use them to slice my cucumbers and celery. I also use them to slice my yellow squash and zucchini, it makes them easier to fry in the pan. My son actually also uses it to slice his block of cheese. Pretty much we use these anytime you would normally use a knife if possible. They are just fun to use and easy to use because of the big handle.
