Best low carb chocolate I've found, by far.
These are smooth and creamy, and LOW CARB. I can have chocolate again! My husband and I have been on a low carb diet for a while, and while I've adjusted well to most, I have struggled with chocolate cravings. These give me guilt free chocolate. They are so rich and satisfying, I can eat just half a bar, and feel satisfied and indulged. They have a slighter stronger chocolate flavor than your standard high carb treats, but they are more delicious because of it, in my opinion. I'll be buying more. Even though they are pricey, they are by far the best low carb chocolate option I've found. They are worth the money to me.

Low Carb Goodness ๐
These are wonderful for dieters & those looking to reduce blood sugar, no sugar alcohol & lots of fiber plus they taste superb. I have a diabetic friend who melts these to use for topping on several of her low carb desserts. They are too pricey for me to cook with but I do love to chop a couple of squares up for a chocolatey, sweet treat. My favorite is the Orange flavor & my husband's is the mint. Thank heavens I found these. For a special dessert treat we like to chop up a flavor variety of these and use along with low carb syrup on low carb ice cream. You never miss the real thing with these.

Reordered!
Wow, I feel like I've struck GOLD! These candy bars are amazing!!! The chocolate is smooth, delicious and perfect for my Keto diet plan. I will honestly say the only downfall is that it's hard to just eat one or two squares! I do feel like they up my cravings some. Other than that, they are a fabulous sugar free dessert or snack. I have tried the mint(LOVE), the orange(LOVE), the raspberry(LOVE) and the almond(LOVE).....I can't even say I like one of those over another. Just wish they were a bit less expensive! For that I took off one star...

The perfect Chocolate bar for those following a Low carb diet !
The perfect Chocolate bar for those following a low carb diet, I first discovered Chocoperfection bars in my monthly Keto Krate subscription , I was very skeptical seeing them in the box though , only 3 grams of carbs for an entire bar? how is htis possible when I can eat individual dark chocolate squares that amount to 2 or more carbs per piece? After doing a lot of research on the Contents of Chocoperfection I decided to try it and see my weight loss progress stalled the following morning for following a marketing lie . However I got up the next morning and to my surprise I was half a lb lighter than I was the previous day and also still in Ketosis .... I was shocked, add in the fact that chocoperfection bars taste amazing and I was floored, shortly after I ordered two gift boxes of the variety pack . This has become my new favorite candy bar and it allows me a safe haven when I get a chocolate craving but don't want to throw away months of dedication for it . If you are like me a skeptic who has been burned by other supposedly low carb treats in the past I would encourage you to research the contents of these bars , give these bars a try , and see if they don't satisfy you and help make your own dieting or health inspired journey a little bit easier, I love them .

lifesaver
So far, I have tried the dark chocolate and the mint - and the only negative I can come up with at all is the price. However, this is neither Amazon's nor LowCarb Specialties, Inc.'s problem, as it was clear from the extensive information and advertising sent with the package that the manufacturer sets the price. There are options to purchase bulk at a lower price, but seriously, how much chocolate (even if it is sugar free) should a person have laying around the house. Yikes! So the bottom line is, this is the closest thing to real chocolate that I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot. If I didn't know it was sugar free, I might not ever figure it out. It truly makes an enormous difference to a person trying to limit sugar and carbs, but who has a long-standing love affair with chocolate. Sure, people can say it's a matter of willpower, but the true choco-lovers out there know what I'm talking about, and it goes way beyond willpower. These bars are a thoroughly acceptable substitute for the good stuff, and because of that, the price (while painful) will not stop me from purchasing them. BTW - someone commented on the size of the mint; yes, they are little, but in this 6-pack, you get 2. Maybe it is better to think of it as a 5-pack, and consider the two mints one. The size of the rest of the bars is slightly larger than a Godiva bar.

If you're diabetic or something, maybe this is "better than nothing" but it's not "chocolate"
Overall, this is a decent attempt at a zero sugar chocolate if you're willing to pay a premium, but it falls far short of emulating the real chocolate experience in sweetness, flavor, and mouthfeel. Because it isn't zero sugar chocolate, it's imitation chocolate that happens to have zero sugar. Nevertheless, if you want to order some, I'd go for the dark chocolate or the orange. The mint isn't bad though it's even more absurdly expensive. Avoid the raspberry at all costs. This is only maybe 60 or 70% as sweet as normal chocolate so be aware of that. Also don't eat a lot of it! You'll get stomach discomfort and digestive issues. all flavors: Doesn't melt right. Chocholate should coat your mouth, this sort of melts into blobs and slides down your throat without sticking. Like it was made of oil and not cocoa butter as some cheap "chocholates" are. The chicory root fiber may be to blame here. Possibly they were going for low calorie in addition to zero sugar and compromised on the texture in order to lower the cocoa butter content. dark chocolate: Reasonably good except for the texture/melting issues. milk chocolate: Has an "off" flavor I can't put my finger on, kind of earthy or musty. Again, probably the chicory root is to blame. mint: Has a very strong mint oil flavor, more "raw mint" and slightly bitter like chewing on mint leaves than the more subtle mint/peppermint style of mint chocholate I'm used to. Leaves an aftertaste that almost "burns" of mint that isn't very pleasant which is probably left over mint oil. Still one of the best out of this lot. orange: Like the mint, has a very powerful orange oil flavor that is more pronounced and in your face than most orange flavored chocholate. Like orange zest. This was my favorite of the bunch. raspberry: Tastes like potpouri or raspberry perfume in a disgusting way. Reminds me of girly scented shampoo or lotion or something. Not pleasant to have in your mounth or nostrils, and it will be for a while, the perfume scent likes to stick around. I really wish someone would just make _chocolate_ with erythritol instead of sugar. No chicory root, no other BS, just chocolate with zero calorie sugar. Chocolate solids, cocoa butter, erythritol. Maybe throw in some orange or mint extract, or add a milk chocolate version, but there is no need to mess with the formula beyond that! Chocolate formulas have been perfected for a long time now. Just give us chocolate with a different kind of zero calorie sugar and stop messing with a good thing!

One of the only honest sugar-free chocolates on the market.
Got these for Mother's day for my weight conscious mother. Unlike other chocolates which are "sugar free" and contain maltitol these achieve their mouth-feel with erythritol. That doesn't sound like a big deal to a lot of people, they're both sugar alcohols right? Wrong. Maltitol might as well just be regular sugar. It's got a huge glycemic impact and has 3/4rths the calories of regular sugar. Erythritol on the other hand is almost inert with around 5/100ths the calories of sugar and virtually 0 glycemic impact. So it should be obvious that everyone would be using Erythritol right? Unfortunately all the big name sugar free candy makers instead use Maltitol so they can proclaim their candy sugar free. I think it's horrible they're basically fooling their customers who are relying on them for weight control. ChocoPerfection took the high road and didn't do this. That is why they're one of the few sugar-free candies I can recommend to people struggling with glycemic control. The only downside is the price, but let's be honest you shouldn't be eating treats every day. I see myself buying these whenever a holiday comes around.

Gave Me Terrible Heartburn & Digestive Problems; DID Raise My Blood Sugar!
In all fairness, please be aware that my results seem to be very unusual. I do seem to be in the very small minority of people who had problems with this product. From searching the internet, it appears that most people have great results with this product. Having said that, here is my personal experience: I'm so disappointed in these ChocoPerfection Bars. The taste was really good, except for the Dark Raspberry, which tasted pretty awful. However, each time that I ate these bars, I had unbearable heartburn, acid reflux, abdominal pain, extreme constipation and gas. I do have digestive problems and also Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which might be why I experienced such severe negative physical reactions to these bars. On the other hand, I don't experience such major, horrible problems with ANY of the other foods that I eat. (I have been on a gluten-free, no-sugar, very low-carb diet, for many years.) Also, I am an insulin-dependent Diabetic. Contrary to the claim that these bars do not raise blood sugar, I experienced a substantial (large) rise in my blood sugar, each time that I ate them. In fact, each time that I ate these bars, I had to inject extra insulin just to get my blood sugar back down to a normal, healthy range. I think that the makers of ChocoPerfection should stop claiming that these bars do not raise blood sugar. There should also be a warning that these bars might cause major digestive problems for some people. The good taste of these bars was not worth the horrible, painful digestive problems and the large rise in blood sugar that I experienced, each and every time that I ate them. I bought a total of ten (10) bars. If I had it to do over again, I would have found a health-food store that sells one bar at a time and tried just one bar. That way, I would not have wasted so much money. Also, if you have digestive problems, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and/or Diabetes, I suggest that you buy only one five-pack of these bars. That way, you can find out whether they cause you any problems, without spending too much money to do so. The manufacturer gave me an extremely fast refund and did not even require me to return what I had left of these bars. I suggest that you check out her website. She lost a tremendous amount of weight by incorporating these bars into her diet.
