I love Arctic Fox Semi-Permanent Hair Dye. I have used a few different colors (Green doesn't usually show in my hair (Dirty strawberry blond (or dark blonde/light brunette)), but blues and purples show up great. THE SMELL IS AMAZING!!!!!! Sorry to shout it but WOW! It smells like grape... to me anyway. And my hair feels so healthy after rinsing it out). Love it! If you are looking for semi-permanent hair color that doesn't leave your hair feeling dead or icky, then this is for you. For extra measure, I would also recommend their brand of Resurrection shampoo and conditioner. A wide variety of colors to choose from for a decent price. Ships quickly. AND you can leave it in your hair for 20 minutes or HOURS!!!! I have done so before and my hair still felt healthy and the colors were lovely. THANK YOU!!!!!!

I bought this so I could dye my daughter‘s hair. I’ve never dyed hair before, but these made it really easy and simple and it actually worked no problems. Constructions were pretty clear. I had enough product and more.

I bleached my roots to a level 8, and applied Arctic Fox Purple AF onto them. Honestly, turned out darker than I expected, but I've heard good things about the way it looks as it fades, so I'm not too worried about that, and I still love the color. The back of my head lifted a little more than the front and it's brighter by a bit, but it's hard to get a picture of that lol.I recommend this color, but I can't say how long it lasts because I just dyed my roots 3 days ago and have only rinsed my hair once so far. My scalp is definitely purple so beware of purple nails if you scratch ur head.I love the way it smells btw, I've never thought it was overwhelming or too strong. I've used other colors from this brand in the past (sunset orange and whatever the red is called), and it faded within 2-3 weeks but honestly, I was 16/17 so I had no hair care routine and always washed my hair in hot water, so that's prolly why ngl. I'm excited to see how it fades.

NOTE: This dye does not require developer and does not come with gloves.So this was my first time trying artic fox. I've dyed my hair for about 10 years now so this might be a little more detailed review based off what I look for in hair dye.For reference, I previously had an extremely faded and sun bleached black cherry(dark burgundy) on my hair. This Arctic Fox color looks like a bluish grape purple with some red tones in it as well. That, combined with the undertones I had previously, made my hair come out to a very deep plum color that looks different depending on the light.In some light it looks black, in others deep violet plum, and in others a fiery redish plum. Also, in the sunlight you can see the hints of blue tones which is really frickin cool.The only bad thing is that this dye is VERY STAINING. You will screw up your shower if you do not clean it up immediately after washing. DO NOT GET IT ON ANYTHING. USE GLOVES. You may want to keep gloves on when washing it out too because of this. However, if you don't have any more gloves just use dawn dish soap and a scrubber, or an exfoliant, on your hands to get it off.For those unfamiliar with hair dye please note;you will NOT achieve a true purple color unless your hair is bleached very, very blonde or you have very light virgin hair. Otherwise it would just make your hair look black unless you're in good lighting.Also, also, I have shoulder length curly hair and worked on four sections. I used only half of the bottle. If you have long hair you will need the whole bottle (probably 1.5-2 bottles if it's super long for the best results.) Always get more than you need.Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Really nice purple color!I bleached my hair ends first before using the purple dye.The first photo is right after I finished dying it (Feb 6th) and the second photo is me now! (Feb 25th). I wash my hair almost everyday so it faded pretty quickly (curly hair things lol) but to prevent the color from going away fast I used Cantù Sulfur Free Shampoo and Conditioner! Each bottle costs $5 each and it works well to preserve color.Now I’m turning pink lol, but it works good as a semi permanent hair dye and my coworkers loved it 😎!!-How I did it:• I bought a hair dying kit here off amazon along with Active Blue powder for bleaching and 30 Developer.• I mixed the active blue powder packet (1 packet) with a free pour of 30 developer until it becomes creamy and liquid-y.• First smothered my ends with bleach and covered with a cap for 45 minutes and then washed with water.• damp dried my hair and applied the purple hair dye and recovered it again for the amount of time said on the bottle.• then once the time was up I washed with my Cantù sulfur free conditioner (NO shampoo) and it became a pretty purple color!!!!

Absolutely Love Arctic Fox colors! It's comes out so beautiful is easy to use and makes my hair feel super soft! This time I used Purple AF and Girls Night Out for the remainder while leaving the top as is.. So many compliments!

Arctic Fox enttäuscht mich echt nie !Die Farbe ist super knallig wen die Haare vorher hell genug sind. Das Lila ist echt der Hammer und der Geruch der Farbe ist einfach nur toll 😍Sie färbt auch nicht so krass ab wie andere semipermanente Haarfarben.Ich kann’s nur weiterempfehlen!

I used Purple AF, and I love it so much!! It works really well, doesn't smell bad like other dye, and the bottle lasts for multiple uses. It definitely does stain skin and such easily, but if you're careful it's not too bad. And the results are very worth it! My bleach didn't lighten my hair fully this time as my hair is quite stubborn, but I dyed it anyway and left the dye on for about an hour. I love the sort of vibrant plum tones it has!

I love this sooooo muchh!!! it shows up only in the sun if you have dark to golden brown hair like me but I did have bleached highlights which dyed so beautifully, It did not damage my hair at all it felt like a leave in conditioner but it did stain a lot my bathroom stained a lottt but it’s fine I like this so much so worth it if you want more of a vibrant color I’d recommend you use a developer or keep it on for more than two hours.

I use this over my natural hair (light brown with lots of grey) with brilliant results!I shampoo and dry my hair before applying it with a brush. I leave it on for as long as possible (hours usually because I lose track of time) then rinse and condition well because the product has lots of protein in and can be quite drying.The 4oz bottle is more than enough for shoulder length hair and I can get almost 3 applications out of the 8oz bottle (which is a lot better value)Colour fades at the roots quite quickly for me and for my friends who use it, but stays in the lengths for AGES. I last used this almost three months ago and my hair still has a purple tinge to it.Sticks well and looks really vibrant on my greys (like glittery highlights). I love how rich the colour is when it's freshly done.Washes easily off your bathroom, and is easy to get off your skin too. Will cause purple rivulets down your face and body in the shower durung first few washes, but that scrubs off.While its fresh, the colour does transfer to clothes/fabrics (like pillowcases) and to skin easily (hello purple neck and shoulders!) but again, it washes out easily and doesn't make permanent stains.Much better product than Manic Panic or XL Live colours...very VERY worth the price tag
