The media could not be loaded.  This car is absolutely adorable and my three-year-old is absolutely obsessed with it. She kept asking for a "Frozen" car, but the Disney cars typically range around $300 or more. To bypass the cost of simple branding, we decided get this car and then apply some $8 stickers to it; it worked like a charm.The instructions for putting this car together are a bit confusing, but I personally did not find the process difficult at all. You can tell the instructions were translated at some point, and some of the translations into English just did not compute. I essentially just followed the pictures and kind of ignored the text, and I did not have any issues. The whole construction process took maybe 30 to 40 minutes. It is all pretty self-explanatory, just pay extra attention when attaching the wheels, inserting the dashboard, and hooking up the battery.Once everything was setup the car turned right on, and was already holding about a half of a charge. The lights inside the dash will all turn on immediately, while the tail lights will only work when the car is in reverse, and the headlights will only work when the car is in drive. The car is well-made for the most part, other than some loose wires underneath the car it feels overall pretty solid.The car moves at a decent pace, but nothing crazy. Luckily if your child punches the gas and gets into a pickle, you can easily outrun the car if you need to. The back wheels actually have a thin rubber strip that encircle both rear wheels, which add extra grip if you are in a backyard with grass, leaves, or even pebbles. If the ground is too wet or the grass is too long then you may have issues, but otherwise driving the car outside is pretty smooth.The MP3 portion worked fine for us, although our child is only three so we have to setup and play the music for her. The car does have a few songs built into it, as well as a horn and some engine noises too.My favorite part of the car is the remote control. It takes two AAA batteries, so just a heads up. It is very responsive, and since my daughter insisted on driving the car around the house Christmas morning, it ensured that she didn't hit any furniture. If your remote does not turn on immediately then just give it a few minutes, for some reason when we first inserted the batteries it took it a couple of minutes to initiate. It works fine now, and will shut itself off when not in use.

It arrived way earlier than expected which is always a plus.The car is simply beautiful, it took me 20 min to assembly it. But i had a problem with the steering from the R/C. Too much soldering paste on the contact and the engine was not turning. I took it from it and it works perfectly.I tested on cement, grass, and dirt (not really loose, but dirt) and the car holds perfectly, traction is great.Turning is not really sharp, which is perfect for small kids, which is the audience it is intended for, so no complaints thereTHE BEST THING ABOUT IT:Slow start/stop, this do not give any whiplash to your kiddo while is riding, so all is fun.Remote works perfectly and it has a very good range, I tested without a kid on top and reached 90 feet without problems (I don't feel comfortable testing further than 20 feet with the kid on board).Working suspension.The audio on it is surprisingly good.Working lights in front and backTHE BAD:For the one i got, the turning engine was badly soldered, this was a really quick fix, but i understand its not a fix most people can do.OVERALL I highly recommend this item, I have seen ride on toys twice the price with less capabilities than this one.

I would have given this a higher review if communicating with customer service wasn't so difficult. Product four stars over all purchase experience 3. It was a Christmas gift arrived promptly put it together pretty easily not difficult at all you can find a video on youtube with step by step instructions. The first car I received would not charge and had scratches and looked used right out of the box. You can only email their customer service they kept giving me the run around and even made me email them a video of me showing them the issues with the car after I had already answered all there questions. Why even ask me a series of trouble shooting questions then expect me to email you a video of proof that the car does not work. Finally they did re send me a new car that works just fine daughter loves it. and works well on grass or gravel she doesn't weigh much though. All in all for the price not like the best quality you can tell it is from china some stickers are off and plastic has scratches but for the price it was a great buy just wish the first car would have worked and my daughter could have had a working one in time for Christmas.

The media could not be loaded.  We bought this for my one year old and its exactly what we were looking for. He's obviously not able to steer and he has a long way to go before he can reach the pedals so having the ride on car function with a remote control was our only option. We have no complaints about the appearance of the car, there was a slight rub mark down the middle of the windshield but its not really noticeable. The assembly instructions were not the greatest, but fortunately there are not many pieces to put together and its mostly just plugging in the electric connections to each other. We have not used it enough at this point to comment on the quality or durability of the battery, but it is worth noting that the instructions indicate it takes 18 hours to fully charge. I definitely think this is an awesome little car, the headlights light up, it has a mp3 player connection, it makes "car" sounds which you can turn up/down/off...for the price they have on Amazon this was a great value. It keeps both my son and my husband entertained so I'm happy with this purchase.
