I wanted a bookshelf speaker for a bedroom, and I'm glad I found this. The size works for me, as does the ported speaker design, as it sits on a shelf with enough room at the back and sides to allow the sound to radiate. The audio is crisp, clear, and well balanced. Bass is smooth and solid, highs are bright and tight. Nice instrumental and vocal definition, and nicely audible stereo separation. This generates plenty of volume for small- to mid-size rooms, more than I need for the place where I use it. It pairs with my iphone quickly and reliably. Volume control from the phone works as it should. I tend to set the phone around mid-level and then use the speaker control to amp it up. What a nice design - old-school genuine wood, fabric, speakers on display, and nothing more. No flashing lights or gimmicks. Simple basic controls. I've been listening and tinkering with audiophile equipment for my whole life. I find this system to be real bargain for the price in today's world of junky plastic techno-boxes. Props to Marley for offering up a fine alternative.

Great sound, looks great, works well with any music or podcast, easily transportable. I have bought a couple of House of Marley products and they have been wonderful. The portable No bounds was cool but didn't have the big sound I was looking for. But the Positive Vibrations XL is great, comfortable and has a nice attribute where the sounds gradually goes from low to where it was before you paused it. I want to get more House of Marley products eventually because I want to support a black owned business that uses reusable recycled materials.

This has equivalent sound just like my former $10,000 Mid fi stereo system with a Hafler Iris, Rotel Amp, MIT Shotgun Terminator Speaker Cables, and NHT or Celestion Speakers.

Best speaker I have ever owned, actually this is the 2nd one I have bought, my 1st one is 12 years old and still working fine , going to put it in the boat !

We use our all of the time. It has good sound with the right amount of bass to make it sound full without overdoing it. We liked it so much that I purchased another as a gift and the recipient loved it.

Powerful, great quality of sound, and surprisingly well balanced in the level of high, low, medium, bass ... The battery is extremely good. I used it to a gathering party and we all went to bed before the battery died ! Really happy with this sound system, I recommend

Purchased on October of 2017 been working like a champ for 3 years straight gotten water in it still working had it fall from 5 and a half feet to concrete and still works although a crack on the bamboo was to be expected only thing that went wrong was my fault i fried the charger by accidentally plugging it in a wet socket at work (i forgot to dry it that day with air hose) the sound is amazing i get complements every time i rock out with the speaker im looking forward to buying another one to have when my 3 year old speaker dies on me (hopefully not soon)

Nice sound stage. Looks great. I use it mostly for daily practicing at lower volumes in my studio. I can recommend this.

Bonne enceinte au look indescriptible. Coté son ça passe sans être révolutionnaire mais de toute façon c'est pas ce qu'on lui demande a ce prix là. Enceinte pour un pièce de 10 a 20 m² env car quand on augmente beaucoup le son on a une pert de qualité (rien de dramatique)

Das Gerät weicht schon allein durch seine Optik von einem "normalen" Bluetooth-Lautsptecher ab und gleicht eher einem hochwertigen Tonmöbel aus dem gehobenen Lautsprecherbau. Neben der sehr edlen und in meinem Fall makellosen Optik ist auch die Verarbeitungsqualität über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Hervorzuheben ist an dieser Stelle der Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke des Herstellers, weshalb bei den Materialen auf Holz(Bambus) und recycelte Stoffe/Kunststoffe zurückgegriffen wurde. Was ich so bisher bei keinem anderen Hersteller bzw. Produkt dieser Art erlebt habe ist die Tatsache, dass man das Gerät mittels eines Kreuzschlitz-Schraubendrehers und einem Brotmesser(zum Lösen der hinteren Holzplatte) komplett öffnen und im Zweifel reparieren kann. So kommt man nach Lösen der gesteckten Platte ganz bequem an das Fach für den verbauten Akku, um ihn im Bedarfsfall zu tauschen. Auch hier ein klarer Pluspunkt in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit. Und wenn man evtl. mal Lust auf eine andere Optik hat, kann man die Holzblenden komplett abmontieren und z.B. lackieren. Nun zum Klang: Diesen würde ich als klar und warm beschreiben. Die Auslegung als 2-Wege System ist definitv zu hören, da der Tief-Mittel-Töner durch die Hochtöner entlastet wird. Die Box kann auch sehr laut spielen ohne zu verzerren oder an Bass zu verlieren, was einen beim Anblick des üppigen Magnetantriebes auch nicht verwundern sollte. An dieser Stelle muss ich aber darauf hinweisen, dass die Box von der Grundabstimmung her nicht auf extremen Bass ausgelegt wurde, aber bei Bedarf die nötigen Reserven vorhält. Bass kann sie durchaus, wenn man mit einem Equalizer nachhilft. Dann hat der Bassreflexport an der Rückseite gut was zu tun. Von mir gibt es für die cleane, perfekte Optik und den Klang 5 Sterne, natürlich gemessen am guten Preis (79,99 Euro).
