T.E.D. Compression Hose Fit Perfectly
The T.E.D. Compression Hose fit nicely and do the job for which they are intended, to reduce the edema/swelling in my feet, knees, and legs. Good quality material as well.

Good length for tall people
I bought these after knee replacement surgery to replace a pair the hospital gave me that were hopelessly too small. These are sized perfectly for a man 6'4" with a large (12-14) shoe size. They are obviously better built than those the hospital provided to me, and I especially liked the extra strong front panel and built-in rubber backs that keep them from slipping down on the leg. They have a reinforced heel which makes it easy to visually determine where the heel is supposed to be. What I most liked is that they came with instructions about how to correctly put the stockings on. I've worn support stockings (durable ones from Ames-Walker) for 49 years and have never heard of or personally discovered the best way to put support hosiery on, especially when the leg is damp, like after a shower. Anyway, these come with instructions how to best put them on, a technique I shall hereafter apply to all my permanent support hosiery. That said, these are not intended to last a long time, maybe a month or so with five or six washings. They're a post-surgical stocking that probably isn't designed for use beyond the average recouperative period. The low price seems to reflect that. After about five washings, the fabric begins to pill and you start to get holes and runs in spite of the proper technique for handling them mentioned above. The extra long size is good for tall people and they last as long as you'd expect them to after surgery. For the long run, you'd need better constructed ones in black or brown to go with street wear, and you'd expect to pay double what these cost for hosiery that is expected to last through many wears and washings.

Great for someone smaller
Was good but hated that they kept falling down! Not for bigger people with bigger thighs
