Velcro
It is hard for me to tighten the velcro closure. It is never tight enough if I do it myself. It is fine if someone fastens it for me.If I may suggest - a LOOP tightening would probably be better as one can tightet it by pulling it before fastening the velcro.I have "hook and loop" fastening shoes. They are much better.

A wonderful slipper, grateful they come in half sizes
My father wore out the slippers he purchased many years ago and I have not had any luck finding ones just like them (which is what he wanted) so I have been on a quest for a good replacement. I purchased four different slippers and took them for him to try on. He wasn't happy with any of them. The slippers without any velcro adjustments hurt to put them on and pull off. The ones with the velcro had two or three straps which made them bulky and he couldn't understand how to get them on (he has cognitive impairment due to dementia and strokes). They also were very heavy and even after I had made the adjustments to assure a proper fit, they were bulky and clumsy enough to concern me that they were going to trip him up. We also had issues with the size 10s being too small and the size 11s too large. After learning from those failures, it helped me narrow my search and I settled on these. The fact they come in half sizes is wonderful since you are more likely to get a proper fit. The one velcro strap is enough give him room to adjust them without being so overly complicated that he can't do it himself. When they are on his feet, the shoe looks slim and well-fitted without bulk or weight so he walks very sure-footed. Even at the age of 91, he still likes to walk (without any walker or cane) so correctly fitting shoes is a must. When I put them on him the first time, his whole face lit up and he had a grin saying "good! comfortable!" He was able to get up and walk about without any change to his walk and he was quite pleased. He will have these on all of his waking hours - both in his memory care unit and when he goes on outings. These are perfect for both situations and for long periods of time. I will be purchasing a second pair to keep as backup so we don't have to go through this again.

Propét Men's Cush N Foot Slipper
So glad I found these slippers for my diabetic husband. He uses these for shoes now and he feels safe when he tries to walk. Great product and will definitely be ordering again.

Pops Approves
Pops is 86 and says he likes them and says they feel comfy. He did say they run a little large in the length and width and his foot slides a little in them even after pulling the velcro strap across tight regardless if he had socks on or not.I was looking for something with support and traction, but comfy enough for him to wear to bed on those nights requiring more than the typical number of bathroom trips. As he is older and falls are a major concern, he slips too easily walking in his socks and he won't go barefoot, traditional slip-on slippers don't stay on his feet in bed and big ole lace-up tennis shoes are just not for sleeping in. They are well constructed and fitted my criteria.

They fit the way I wanted.
As you can see I have some edema and I need a pair of slippers/shoe that I can wear with socks. I read ALL of the reviews and ordered these. I measured my foot and ordered a pair two sizes to large compared to my foot before the edema. The fit is just a bit loose without socks, with socks they fit just right. One of the reviews said the heel was to soft and it is soft but these are special for people with disabilities and the soft heel allows me to mash it down and not ruin it. I have trouble getting my shoes on. With my leather shoes I must have help but not with these. I only gave them 4 stars as I just got them and I don't know how they will hold up. I have had slippers made from this type of material and I know to hand wash them and air dry them. If they come apart I will come back and let you know. In the meantime I plan to order another pair to allow time for them to dry out. The seller has a good return policy so I recommend buying these, just take the time to get your shoe size right.

Good for senior adults, wish they stood up to laundering
I’ve bought four consecutive pairs of these for a nursing home resident with dementia. They are easy enough .for him to slip on and fasten the Velcro, and he seems comfortable. The only down side is that the fabric doesn’t hold up well to laundering. He has a colostomy bag with inevitable spills, so they need frequent cleaning. Thus, I replace them about every 6 months.

men's xxl slipper
Slipper is not firm enough at the heel to maintain structure.Within 2 months the heel would fold and not straighten. Very good size fit (xxL) and good material quality.

Better than last pair except.....
This pair fits better than the first pair. The only concern are the insoles - both are not attached to the inside sole, so they bunch up when taking off the slipper. A bit of flexible adhesive on the toe of each insole would anchor them. Other than that, they fit well, seem well made (again) and provide decent support.
