ELING Ultrasonic Fuel Level Sensor Fuel Monitoring System Non-Contact Fuel Level Gauge Ohm Gauge for Truck Car Diesel Level Detection

I have a classic old British car with a non functioning fuel tank sender. Rather than risk opening up the tank to replace this sender with an aftermarket replacement as direct replacements are unobtainable, I purchased an Eling Ultrasound system. I installed the sensor on the tank & it had a persistent flashing red light. The bluetooth App showed hardware error 2. I contacted the manufacturers & they responded with a series of checks to do to help figure out the problem. The sensor passed the “water bottle test”, showing that there was nothing wrong with the hardware provided. Despite following their instructions on preparing the tank surface, I kept getting a flashing red light & hardware error 2. I concluded that the system does not work on the steel tank with 0.064” steel on my car.

L’installation est tellement mal expliqué que j’ai perdu 2 jour a essayer de configurer cette cochonnerie! J’ai essayé d’obtenir du service afin de m’aider mais sans succès! Je me suis fait voler de 150$ plus taxe pour une cochonnerie qui demande des etudes nucleaire ou en Genie afin d’installer ca !!!! Je deteste me faire voler !!!!!Je donne -500/100 a cette bebelle !!!

This is a great idea, but the instructions are vague at best, and the customer service is vague at best they don't supply a passcode for settings which is needed for set up, and they don't even have it themselves .l wasted over 8 hrs so far trying to figure this thing out by their instructions,two hrs of tech support I enlisted as well because Fling has no support. Please steer clear of this one.
