Dont listen to the trolls
Dont listen to the negative reviews. If you have half a brain and aren't doing industrial scale stripping this is all you will ever need. I fabricated a guide for the feed side with a piece of 5/4 wood. With the drill on it, it works way better than the hand crank. I stripped 200lb of wire in about 1 hour. It doesn't like 3 wire romex but otherwise ate anything I put in from 12-2 to 250 mcm thhn. The bigger stuff has to be cut to shorter lengths but that is to be expected. I cant be happier. Oh and it comes with an extra blade. As far as adjusting, if you pay attention and go slow at first you'll get it.Update: I agree with the other review about the tape. I also suggest taking it fully apart and carefully bending the piece of metal that holds the circular blade. I did this with a pair of channel lock pliers. Go slow until you get a snug fit. If you do this and add the tape the blade stays rock solid in the center. Fantastic bang for the buck.

Very handy stripper
I started out using the stripper with the handle that comes with it but quickly went to my variable battery operated drill.I then asked my wife to help me with the pile of wire that I had been collecting over the past three years. We stripped so much wire I was calling my wife my little stripper. The first load of wire we took in netted us 286 dollars. Second load was 223, and the forth was 200 plus for a total of 700 plus. This was when stripped copper was only paying 2.36 per pound. This little stripper would strip big half inch cable down to 1/8 inch wire. It takes some trial and error and it really helps speed things up to have a helper. It really is a good machine and saves alot of time. I mounted it on a 2 foot by 2 foot board and then put that on two saw horses. Worked like a charm.
