Patelai 6 Pack Swedish Dishcloth Cute Cat Dish Cloth

Aren't these the cutest designs ever? I bought the Reusable Swedish Kitchen Dish Cleaning Cloths as gifts/favors for six friends attending a reunion last June. Of course, the women loved them. It was a difficult choice, given the pages and pages of whimsical and elegant Swedish Kitchen designs available on Amazon. The Swedish Kitchen Dish Cleaning Cloths are flat as a board when you get them. As soon as they hit water they become soft and pliable like a chamois, but are a nice square shape making them convenient in the sink. They are great for pre-rinsing dishes before the dishwasher, or washing dishes by hand if that's your thing. Being absorbent and gentle, they make short work of wiping the kitchen counter and/or caressing your fine China and crystal. They are made out of cellulose, so you can rinse them out with liquid dishwasher soap, ring them dry, and hang them over the faucet at night. They will dry by morning without any oder. If you feel like it, run them through the dishwasher occasionally in the cutlery basket, or even the laundry once a week (no dryer.)

Exceptional. This is my 3rd purchase of this item as I enjoy the whimsical kitties. The new is on left. It is larger, thicker and best of all is more stain resistant! My only complaint with old product is that it stained quickly and then looks yucky so it's off to the rag bag. I just wiped coffee spill with the new one and as you can see in photo, it rinsed right out instead of staining! I am thrilled my favorite dish rag will look great for longer.

I heard about swedish kitchen towels from Reddit and decided to try them out. Texturewise it a mix between packing material/paper towel/sponge. Right out of the box these won't suds/lather as well as a sponge though they do dry quickly and that limits the chance for bacteria to multiply and cause odors. They're decently durable but will quickly take damage if used as a scouring pad on baked on debris. (There's a grid of fibers in the middle that holds it together so even if you wear through the spongy material it will still ultimately hold together.) In fact the more the surface is roughed up the better it produces soap suds, though still won't compare to a sponge in that regard and because of this It seemed that I was applying dish soap more often than I would have liked. I almost feel they're better for wiping down countertops than washing dishes as they able to hold a decent amount of liquids (you'll want to dampen them before use otherwise it's like wiping the counter down with a piece of weathered cardboard.) They can be machined washed but I'd probably recommend air drying them, they're designed to dry quickly anyways. The images are cute but will pretty much immediately begin to fade after first use. The pack of 6 lasted a little over a year before I threw them out due to wear, which is about 2-4x longer than a similar pack of sponges would have lasted. The real benefit is not having to deal with any odorous or slimy feeling sponges and these do deliver on that. I just think my expectations were a little too high as I wanted a more or less "buy it for life" solution that I don't reasonably think is possible from an everyday use item like this.

Love these, have ordered multiple times. Can be put in the washing machine. I keep one in the shower to wipe down the walls when finished showering.

The print is cute and it seems to the job. You can definitely sponge and absorb water.....when it's kind of wet. Because when the tower is full dry, it's kind of become a hard piece and it's not absorb water as I expected it does. You will need actually wet the tower under water to soften it first. After couple wet/dry cycle, it became so hard that it will just tear or break on your hand when you try to wet the towel. And eventually the towel starts falling into small pieces all over.

Great quality. Well worth the money spent. Going into a real cat lovers home so they were thrilled with this cute set.

Die Tücher sehen sehr süß aus, aber… man kann sie im Grunde nur 1-2 mal benutzen, da sie dann anfangen kaputt zu gehen. Während man Alternativen aus dm oder Rossmann immer wieder waschen kann, lösen diese sich nach der ersten Wäsche schon leicht auf. Wirklich sehr schade und überhaupt nicht nachhaltig.

Pictures as shown, colors hold well. I've been using the same cloth for about 2 months and colors just faded a bit, but still looks good. I boil it once in a while to desinfect. But otherwise very absorbent, no smell, eco friendly.
