Just caused upset! My daughter chose this and was so looking forward to painting them. However, the paints are gone off. They’re a solid gum in the bottle that will not squeeze out, too dry to apply to brush and will not mix with water. I am savage and want to return it but my daughter burst into tears because she wants it. I hate paying for rubbish that doesn’t work!!!! Not happy 😡

The Squishy toys are soft and quite ok, but the paint has very strong chemical smell which leads to me to believe that the paint supplied isn't suitable for children to use, and get over their fingers etc. We didn't actually paint the squishy toys as the paint was so off putting.I definitely don't recommend if you care about the health and safety of your kids. I will be requesting a full refund as I am pretty sure this kit isn't suitable for kids.

The paint is crap, it's like air has got to it and it's turned to rubber. It also takes all your strength and a sacrifice to the gods to get it out of the tube through the squeeze hole. The paint we managed to stir out some of the lumps doesn't stick to the squishy. Going to buy new paints instead of returning. Save the bother

I kind of knew when I bought this that the paint wouldn't stick, especially if the kid likes squishing the squishies. It does stick fairly well and lasts a day. It also kind of stains it so that the colour will stay. But the actual paint easily peels itself off within a day or two.Other thab that, it's absolutely brilliant and definitely value for money. The squishies alone are worth the cost in my opinion. Throw the craft feature on top of it and everything that's included (paints, glitter, sticker gems, etc) and I definitely recommend. Just don't expect the paint to stay on, haha.

The paints in both sets were clotted and was unable to use most of them was upsetting as these were gifts for my grandchildren the sets were lovely but paints are not use able to paint with as you can see the paint was not mixing or any good canyou please send replacement asp thank you x

Have as a birthday gift to a best friend’s child. Got really embarrassed when I asked her if she had painted any of the squishy animals. The kid said the animals won’t take any paint, the surface doesn’t allow you to paint them. Her mom will have to sand them down in order for their surface to take paint. I was so so embarrassed!Also it was in an ugly box, looked like it was worth £5 and not £16! I ended up giving an extra gift along with this one, so the child doesn’t feel bad when she sees what a horrible gift I got her!

Bought as a Christmas gift, it's ok and my daughter likes it but it's a boy useless really. It comes with washable paint so she needs to keep the painted squishies away from water otherwise she'll transfer the colour onto clothes etc. Also, a couple of the squishies were slightly ripped.

The box had a big hole and rips/tears all over it. It was feebly taped back to together which suggests the damage didn’t happen in transit but at the warehouse. It seems like a second hand product.The white and the yellow paint is mealy, thick, and comes out in lumps. Impossible to apply to the squishies and impossible to mix the colours.I’m not sure if my particular pack had faulty paint or if all their paint is just bad quality. Either way, my granddaughters were so disappointed: tears, tantrums, now I need a glass of wine
