The shelf was easy to install (I leaned the shelf at a 90 degree angle and placed dots on my wall where the screw holes were located). It is quite attractive (real wood, rich stain). However I wanted to place three items on the shelf that weighed a pound-ish each, and the mounting system cannot hold the weight without leaning downward at a slope. If your display items are lightweight, this is a great shelf.

The wood had marks where the stain was not covered.

The shelf worked out perfectly.

I read some negative reviews before buying but thought it might be an exaggeration.It is actually worse than I read…See pictures to understand.1. Very poor wood quality. Feels almost like a sponge2. This little shelf is not even made from a single piece of wood - but 3!! That’s lame. Tells you about the quality of the item3.the pieces are not even straight. You can see in the pictures one of the pieces is diagonal. Lame4. Pieces badly glued. You can notice the small gaps between the pieces5. Cracks and other defects are very visible6. The edge that should be aligned with the wall is not cut straight! See picturesThis is a clear DON’T BUY!!!

Very Rustic. Perfect Size for Our Needs. You might want to seal it, if you are going to use it in a bathroom. It comes with everything you need to install. You might want to make a template, and have a level. The shelf slides Onto two bars. Might not be the best to install, where little hands can grab at it.
