BOSS Waza-Air Bass Over-Ear Bass Guitar Sound System

I was skeptical that these would live up to their price point. Ive been rocking the Aguilar headphone amp. Aux wire in and headphone wire out. Love the sound of it, but it gets old fighting those wires. I needed something for in my RV when we road trip. These are phenomenal! I dont use the gimmick(y) position setting. I went through and dialed in my StingRay, my Ultra 2 Jazz bass, and my D'Mark 6 string. They all sound great through these. I play along to Spotify songs, then switch over to no bass jam along on YouTube, then hit the onboard drum machine. Too easy. Super comfortable. No wires. The onboard effects are super fun and I can get each of my basses dialed in. I "wrote" each sound - so they are easy to pull up when I switch basses. There are enough drum patterns in this thing to keep you busy. Overall I am extremely glad I spent the money. They have never cut out on me and I haven't run out of battery during a sesh. I only go for about 3 hours tho. I charge after every time I use them. I sit in front of the TV with my wife while she watches a chick flick I do a fair bit of shredding. Ha!

Does everything as promised for my bass. My Sony X1000 broke so I decided to use this as my daily earphones. For Amazon music, it kills ! My samsung s26 ultra phone has a built in eq which enabled me to add more mid and bass and these outperform my Sonys in sound and quality. When I get back to actually playing bass I will use them as they are intended for but for now they are my goto for everyday music needs

This item has been available for quite a number of years. I’m giving it 5 stars but I do have some cons. I don’t care - but might be a concern for some. Pros Fits nicely over the ears Sounds great Easy to configure App easy to setup Cons Expensive Buttons and switches not easily accessible Bass level not loud enough It just does on you no audible indication Audio from music on Apple becomes scratchy as if You were too far from the phone. Requires the Stop of the music and restarting. Not a real Big deal - but does make you think the battery Is dying. 5 watts is a little weak I think. My bass is tapped Out to the max and the iPhone audio balance is A bit on the weak side. With all of that - I can practice in my chair while my wife is watching TV and doesn’t hear it at all! At all! That makes it encouraging that I want to practice more. If you are okay with those little pros and cons great!!! Plus with Amazon if you don’t like it send it back - simple as that.

The Headphones and what they do is great. The sound and built in effects are cool. The volume is loud enough. But,connecting to the Boss app is not happening. So,if you are buying these Headphones for the app? Don't waste your time.

These are really remarkable. It’s really hard to convince yourself that others can’t hear what you are playing/listening to. A+! But you can’t just plug them in to charge. You also have to switch them from ON to CHARGE (or else the battery will completely die even while you have the charger plugger in). Very weird design that way. If you can deal with that, you will love them! Just buy them! :-)

Initially I loved these. It solved the problem of drowning in cables when all you want to do is practice. However, the wireless connection is inconsistent. It crackles and on every one of my basses, active and passive. I've tried the stereo to mono adapter suggested on forums as well as isolating from EM interference but still crackles and pops randomly. This may be acceptable in a $100 - $200 product, but not when you're paying over $400. The sound quality is excellent and the effects are well executed. The other spatial effects are just a gimmick that I'm sure chews up battery life, since the headphones really only hold a couple of hours worth of charge. I really can't get over the crackling. If I had a cable that crackled like this I'd throw it away. But this cost >$400 so I need to live with it.

Great product, only thing is I wish it could transfer sound to amp or another headphones.

Boom, this is a winner for quiet practice. As a bass player using Orange and Trace Elliott amps, this headphone amp is a perfect match. It does bottom out sometimes on the B string, depending on volume and note, but one can work around that with adjustments. I'm very happy with this portable , personal amp. Charges fast and lasts long on a charge.

I wondered if this would work on my Yamaha five string electric violin, and it does! It requires some serious silver to buy but now one can enjoy the luxury of listening to the music without annoying the neighbors and having cords to inhibit freedom of movement!

Functions are as good as advertised. Very bad comfort. Head band is stiff, earcup is small, pads are hard, and the depth is shallow. For comfort, it gets everything wrong at this price point
