Michel Design Works Kitchen Towel, Lavender Rosemary

Michel dish towels are durable & strong.All the graphics on their towels are absolutely beautiful and never fade. I used to purchase these towels from Sur La Table, but since it’s closing, have not been able to find same. That’s why I’m delighted that Amazon is now carrying a small variety of these towels. I hope Amazon continues to add more designs like these to its inventory.Just one thing: Customers need to be patient with regard to letting the towel ‘soften up’. Remember : these are high-quality towels with great graphics. It’s going to take 4-6 washings before the fabric relaxes. So work with it by using & washing it. It’ll come around. Worth the effort for a towel that will last for years and maintain its beautiful motif.

My dear friend's beloved lavender plant was demolished by a gardening crew that wasn't paying attention while they hacked it, and I bought this towel to restore her spirits. The quality of the linen was superior, the printing of the design on the linen was excellent, and for those of us who love lavender (and linen) , the combination made a lovely gift.

I'm not sure at this moment what the towel is made of but it feels like it is starched! I wanted to usethem in my lavender bathroom but find it hard to even dry my hands with them. But beautiful andlarge they are! I'm hoping that after being washed many times they will soften!

Really fantastic kitchen towels -- I had previously bought a flour-sack towel which was terrible: super, super thin and a giant, unwieldy size -- plus the wrinkling in the dryer was horrendous. Perhaps it's unfair to compare, but this towel is a stiff cotton, a large (but not overly so) size, and washes beautifully -- very few wrinkles. Plus so pretty. I'd highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about Michel Designs towels. The fabric is a nice quality cotton, but it is the design detail that I love. The colors are beautiful, and the main design (lavender) is accented with a bird's nest, fleur de lis, and other symbols. They make great hostess gifts.

I have a bunch of these tea towels. Used to be the best brand. Durable and beautiful. The last on I bought was rubbish quality compared with every other that I have bought over the years. After two washes it got a hole in it! They do get holes. but only after a few years of heavy use. Seems that now the quality is so low they do not live up to the company's reputation

This is a beautiful towel, but I would rather use it as a wall hanging. It is very well made and the design is lovely. Large enough for kitchen jobs, or as a hanging kitchen or even bedroom accent.
