Giraffe Tools Hose Reel 1/2‘’ 78 ft, Heavy Duty Retractable Garden Hose Reel with Any Length Lock, Slow Return System, Wall Mounted and 180 Deg Swivel Bracket

Had this unit for about a year. Great quality. Nice to have it auto retract. Nice and durable. Mounted straight to concrete and is locked tight. Included nozzle is of great quality even though it is plastic.

I purshased thr 1/2 inch hose and first impressions were good. Like every hose set up like this is theres alot of plastic and hose qualtiy remans to be seen but doesnt look very durable should a vehicle run over it. Howere being plastic nothing seems too flimsy which was a concern when ordering. I should have gone with the 5/8 hose cause i notice a slight difference in water presure and as i run water for the sprinkler my machine makes a humming noise but doesnt bother me at the moment just glad yhere no loose hose on the ground.

Purchased this hose reel in July 2024 after reading many positive reviews. Absolutely loved it! The hose was light weight and the retracting feature made life so much easier than trying to manually coil up the hose. Everything seemed high quality. However, a few weeks ago the hose stopped locking when it was extended and then completely failed to retract. Tried several times but the hose would not go back in. I have since contacted customer service twice and have not had any reply. Too expensive of an item to only last a year. Would not recommend.

Good solid hose reel, but the hose itself not so great. Brand new out of the box the hose is stiff as a board and as it gets older you know it will become less flexible.

This is genius for our smaller cluttered back yard so easy to install and use and really makes it so easy to clean up the hose off the grass
