Love it! Very soft and easy to work with
Love it! Very soft and easy to work with. I’m a beginner and found this has been my favorite yarn so far! Nice color. Bought the pink and the gray. Not sure which color I love the most. Buying more now because I love the super softness of the hats I made with it!

Highly recommended
This wool is wonderful and made such a beautiful hat/scarf that I had to make 3 more for people that saw mine.

Wonderful, with One Caveat
I raise alpacas and love this blend! It worked up beautifully into the baby afghan pictured. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of all of the very loosely woven-in "nubbies". You can see one of them in the center of the first image. I'm not crazy about the black being added at all, but the fact that they are so loose makes them a hazard for babies. I pulled many of mine off. Otherwise, this is wonderfully soft, as expected from alpaca fleece, and a delight to use.

I just found this yarn and made a hat. I really like it; it's soft and easy to work with. I have more in my shopping cart right now.

No alpaca...
After discovering that my wife was ripped off by a different brand of yarn which advertised to be cashmere but wasn't, I began testing many of the different yarns on Amazon. I am a forensic investigator and can quite easily tell the fibers apart under a microscope. While this is a quality yarn, it contains absolutely zero natural alpaca fiber. In fact, of all the alpaca yarns I tested, only one actually did contain the amount of alpaca fiber they advertised.

But where’s the olive?
I know the name of the color is sand dune, however, based on the photograph I must say I was expecting a shade of olive which I thought was really ugly and I loved it. Opening the box I found that it’s tan, and not the olive I was expecting. I’m disappointed that I don’t get that ugly green that’s shown in the photo, but also not disappointed because I like the tan also and this is one of the softest yarns I’ve felt. Looks like I’ll have to find that shade elsewhere.

Ooooooo! So lucious and soft!!!
I am in love with this gorgeous yarn. Very soft with a little bit of yummy fuzziness to it. The colour is exactly as shown too. A dusty rose colour. I bought the cream one as well as the grey one too. Worth every penny on Amazon if you don't have a Mary Maxim close to you.

SOFT - LIGHT WEIGHT and...WARM !!
LOVE the colour of this tweedy Cool Stream Alpaca yarn.I will post the blanket I am making when done the project but must say it will be a wonderful addition for years to come in our livingroom/den.(Only thing to say...the fibers do separate...after a few rounds one gets used to getting them ALL on the crochet hook)..

Very soft yarn
Very soft. Sometimes tweed yarns lose the little tweed pieces; this one doesn’t.

Brins ce sépare
J’adore cette laine, je me suis fait un poncho et la laine est très douce. Par contre, plus difficile à crocheter car les brins se séparent. C’est le seul inconvénient. Je vais en recommander d’autres c’est certain
