This washing machine is something I was looking for quite sometime and finally I couldn’t be more happier with this product. Hassle free noise free and dry free. This dries out the clothes 100% which means no more drying clothes out, also you don’t need a separate dryer. The Samsung washing machine is a game-changer! Its ecobubble technology ensures deep cleaning while being energy-efficient, and the 8kg capacity is perfect for my family’s needs. Quiet, reliable, and packed with smart features. Easy to operate no much complications. Once it’s done you’ll get to know until then you won’t even know the washing machine is on. Value for money, efficient and good quality with good packaging. For installation I would recommend to get it done by experts. I love it.

This is the worst washing machine I’ve ever purchased. From day one, it had extreme vibration, very loud noise, and shakes so badly that I can’t even use it properly. It feels nothing like a new product and performs terribly. For the price, I expected reliable quality, but this machine has been a huge disappointment. I do not recommend this product at all. Save your money and look for a better brand.

This washer/dryer combo completely dries clothes - they come out warm and fully dry. I couldn't find a straight answer about this anywhere in other reviews, which was incredibly frustrating. After getting tired from search fatigue trying to find a guaranteed answer about whether washer/dryers actually dry clothes properly, I took a chance on this Samsung machine (Model WD80TA046BX/GU). My Experience & Learning Curve: At first, clothes came out mostly dry but with some damp spots but that's because I only set the dryer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. After experimenting, 2 hours is the sweet spot for a drum that's 75-80% full. The clothes come out completely dry and warm. I've only had this machine for two days, so I can't speak to long-term durability, but so far I'm very satisfied with the results. 1) Settings & Operation: I select the "Daily Wash" program for mixed cotton/synthetic loads with these specific adjustments - Temperature: Changed from the 60°C preset to 30°C (first button on the left under the display). I learned from a YouTube video that higher temperatures cause clothes to shrink Rinse: Keep at 2 (second button, leave as preset) Spin: Keep at 1400 RPM (third button, leave as preset) Dry function: Press the button twice to get the t-shirt with timer symbol, then keep pressing to add drying time. I set it to 2 hours for optimal results. Pro tip: After your clothes finish washing and drying, partially open the washing machine door this somehow makes your clothes even drier and reduces the risk of mildew/mold buildup. 2) Detergent & Freshness: About fabric softener, I read fabric softener is bad for front loaders because it builds up in the machine, even though the manual says you can add it. From my research, I found these freshness beads from Downy called Downy Unstoppables - they sell them at Spinneys but you can also buy them on Amazon. You add a capful directly in the drum (not in the drawer) before you add the clothes, and your clothes come out smelling fresh. You could also throw in a laundry pod. For the drawer: I only add laundry liquid in the far left section. For detergent type, I read that HE detergent (the one with the HE logo which stands for High Efficiency) is best because it doesn't produce a lot of suds and machine build-up. I found this Attitude liquid laundry detergent on Amazon, it was the last piece available. It smells amazing and I love the packaging design, very clean with a penguin image. Never heard of this company before but love the simplicity. 3) Maintenance Notes: To maintain the machine, I did my research on this as well. If this is your first experience with front loader machines like me (I've only used top loaders before), you have to clean the rubber door gasket between uses as water and lint accumulate there. Make sure to wipe it down after every use or it will start to smell and potentially develop mold. 4) What I Can't Help With Energy consumption: I have no idea about the energy usage, so I can't provide detailed information there. Drying mechanism: I did my research on whether this uses condenser or heat pump technology when making my decision on which washer/dryer to get, but couldn't find information on the drying mechanism for this specific machine. I read heat pump takes longer to dry but is more energy efficient. This was another factor that made my decision harder, but as I said earlier, I just took a chance on this machine. 5) Bottom Line Very satisfied with this washer/dryer combo once I figured out the right settings. So far, I'm glad I took the chance despite not having all the technical details I wanted. The key takeaway: 2 hours for the dry cycle if you want completely dry clothes.

Update: After using it for couple of weeks its making ratchet noises on high rpm like another review have mentioned. Old Review I was skeptical on buying a washer/dryer combo but so far so good. Although it did shrink some of shirts badly in drying. Have read a lot of comments about dryer usually taking 6hr but in my case i put on a 2hr dry cycle along with a daily wash(total 3.5hrs) and my cloths were dry as hell. Next time had a 30min dry cycle added and it produced a much better results. Machine itself is mostly silent compared to others and is stable on the floor. With regular maintenance i hope it works a long way.

I’m really happy with this Samsung washer dryer, honestly, it’s been my best purchase so far! Before buying, I had read some comments mentioning it was noisy, but in my experience, it’s actually very quiet, even during the spin cycle. I also added the Amazon installation service for just AED 54, and it was completely hassle-free. The team came on time, installed the machine quickly, and everything was up and running without any issues. I mostly use the Quick Wash option with the Add Dry button for 3 hours, and it works perfectly. Clothes come out clean and fully dry, even heavy items like jeans! Highly recommend this washer dryer if you’re looking for convenience, efficiency, and peace of mind!

I purchased the machine in February 2025, and from the very first use, I noticed several issues. It emits a strong, unpleasant odor—especially during the drying cycle—and the body of the machine is loose and shakes excessively, despite being placed on a level floor. I contacted Samsung customer service three times, and although the machine was taken to their workshop, no improvements were made. Unfortunately, it seems like the goal is simply to run out the 12-month warranty period without resolving the problem. In my experience, this product is defective, and I strongly advise others to stay away. Very disappointed with both the product quality and the after-sales service.

We bought this washer dryer to replace our old Candy Hoover that died - it made sense to buy it here. Even with the full fitting service and removal of the old washer included, it was still £100 cheaper than other retailers selling the same model (Fitting service was brilliant too). I’ve been dying to have a Samsung one for years as they always seemed so good! 100% lived up to expectations. I love the design, UI and the darkened drum cover. It has an 8kg drum, so it washes big items like double duvets and sofa blankets well. Items come out lovely and fresh after each wash, as it uses Samsung EcoBubble (from what I understand it activates the detergent before it hits the drum with water and air pressure to make it foam to clean clothes better). There are so many cycles to choose from, but my fav go to is the eco-wash, by default it’s 15 degrees temp for 15 mins, but I vary per washing case and also choose 20 or 30 degree for the temp making it go up to a 23 minute cycle (nice and quick still). I can then either choose to rinse and dry it or dry it solely if desired. Never had a dryer before and it has been nothing short of amazing to have - benefitted so much already, being able to wash and dry our dog or guinea pigs items in a day is massive plus for us as those items like blankets and liners can take days to air dry - even with a heated clothes horse it still took ages. For the dryer so far I’ve been choosing the little T-shirt with timer icon and the selecting either 30 mins or an hour and it’s been drying it wonderfully! It comes out all soft and warm! The interface is explained well in the manual it came with - 5 columns; temp, wash level, spin level,drying choices and bubble soak. The dial has a nice little light feature too, to help show which cycle is currently selected. It even lists the cycles it needs to go through so you can see where the washer/dryer is up to. Worth noting too this sits at 52 decibels - it’s actually so so much quieter than our previous washer at 72 decibels. It plays a cute little tone when it comes on, or to let you know it’s finished, but this can be muted if you’d prefer. The components feel solid to interact with, the detergent drawer glides smoothly and you can feel the connect upon open and close. Buttons are tactile and the dial feels responsive. The door has a good weight to it where it sits open comfortably with a firm hinge and provides a satisfying clunk when it is opened and closed. Another big tick for us was that it came with the 5 year parts and labour warranty, which you have 90 days I believe it is to register for. For the price point and the fact it’s a washer dryer is nothing short of fantastic. Could not be happier with it!

I bought the Samsung Series 5 Washer Dryer and I am really happy with it. The design in graphite looks very modern and stylish in my kitchen. The 8kg wash / 5kg dry capacity is perfect for everyday family laundry. Clothes come out very clean thanks to the Ecobubble technology, even at lower temperatures, and it also helps save energy. Drying function works well for smaller loads, handy when I need things ready quickly. It runs very quiet, with only 54 decibels during washing, which is a big plus compared to my old machine. The spin speed at 1400 rpm gets clothes almost dry before I even use the drying cycle. The control panel is simple to use, with clear programs for cottons, mixed load, quick wash, and eco cycles. I like that it also has a self-cleaning function for the drum.

Purchased this after having two other branded models that were so hard to use and faulty after one wash. This model is perfect, easy to use without having WiFi and all that not needed programs that take hours just to do a wash. I am mostly using the mixed wash. Just over an hour with most loads. It weighs the load and the wash comes out perfect. The drying cycle takes longer than my old hosed tumble dryer. It also comes out smelling a lot fresher than a condenser dryer. We will see how the performance is when autumn and winter comes. So far really happy with it and hope it will last many years. Was also a good price!

For everyone saying their machine is shaking uncontrollably - you must ensure the shopping bolts are removed from the back of the machine before use! Overall it's a good machine, but I'm really unimpressed by the dryer. Loads take 6 hours on average to wash and dry. Granted, a full load will come out dry with this setting. But there doesn't seem to be any shorter settings with decent drying. If you regularly need a dryer, then you won't find a quick dry setting using this product. Unless I'm missing something. Personally, the musical sounds when the load is done are incredibly annoying. I need to check if I can switch that setting off.

The machine is absolutely amazing. The people who installed this didnt do their job properly so we had to call a professional plumber to reinstall this washing machine.
