Amazing book

I really enjoyed this stand alone novel. It was addictive and really interesting. I really warmed to the character, Derek and probably because of the television series of the same name, I imagined him looking like Ricky Gervais, ha. Maybe Mr Gervais should consider making this book into a film. It would make a very good film and one which would have a lot of viewers. I think the quirky character of Derek would appeal to Mr Gervais. I won't say anything about the plot, as it would spoil the story but it was really different and I was really curious to find out what would happen to Derek.

This book told a frightening story and I think the main reason it is so frightening is that it could really happen. We have to be aware and able to protect our information that is out on the web. And we need to be aware of all the ways our info is put out there.Derek Flint was very tech savvy. He ran his own home security company. He liked to help people. But he had some very odd habits. He was baffled when he was seemingly targeted and his business started falling apart. He knew enough to find his enemies, but he failed to realize just how evil some people can be. And his innocence could cost him his life.......This book will keep you glued to the pages. It was tense, and extremely frightening. Not in a gory, disgusting way, but because it could happen. It's really a good story and it will make you think. In some ways we are losing a lot of our young people in this country. I think the most common way is drugs. But gangs are another danger. Combine that with the Dark Web and the problem exacerbates. This is a story worth reading and thinking about. I recommend it.

The Guy Derek . The one that does the house Camera's is STRANGE! Not what I expected with Cathy Glass.

It was a bit slow at the start but then it became a good read. Took me a while to get into it but it was ok :)
