This stuff is amazing, way better than purple shampoo. It actually re-dyes the hair, tints my lavender hair again and stretches out how long I can go between dyes. Just watch out- it’s so pigmented, it WILL leak out a little and stain your whole bathtub if you don’t close it properly!

This stuff is easy to use, virtually mess free (if you are careful) and keeps your hair looking great!This stuff gives you bright, fun, shiny colors. It will wash out of your hair in time, but it’s so easy to use that I re-apply about 1-2 times a week to keep the color vibrant. It is a very gentle dye also, so you don’t have to worry about damaging your hair.It washes off of skin fairly easily, but can be hard to get it out of the crevices in your cuticles and nails, so use gloves or something to apply or you will spend a bit of time scrubbing your nails. I use a silicone pad.It can also stain grout and silicone, especially in fully concentrated form. Otherwise, once diluted with water when you are rinsing out it washes right down my shower drain with no residue or staining at all. It also doesn’t stain plastic, such as shower curtain liners.To use, I apply it to damp, but not totally saturated hair and lather it up a bit. Pile it on top of my head, (use a shower cap if necessary) and wash other areas while avoiding getting the hair wet. It needs to stay on at least 3-5 minutes, maybe longer on the first application. The longer you leave it on, the brighter it will be.Once I am ready to rinse it out I bend over under the shower and allow the water to rinse my hair out until I see the water starting the run clear, then I rinse more using my hands. I apply conditioner, and wipe any areas that may have gotten messy.

This product adds a lot of color! I really like it. I have a lot of grey & this cools it down a lot & adds a fun purple color for a short time.

I bought this to color gray parts of my hair. It doesn't get into parts close to the roots very well so the color doesn't come out even, but I like this better than other products as it's easy to apply. Just shampoo and leave it on for a few minutes, no need of brush, cape, or long wait. That wins. This shampoo lather well so you need a small amount each time. The color is very light -- lavender rather than purple -- and it gets only slightly darker as you use every day. It probably won't get to dark purple as the bottle color may suggest. I wanted light color so this works for me. Shampoo doesn't cause dryness. Fragrance is okay. Reasonably priced. I like it overall. Just wish it'd color the roots better.

I dye my hair a fuchsia color every 3-4 months and like all red, pink and purple colors it fades quickly. I’ve known for years color depositing shampoos are a good way to maintain color until it’s time to color it again. I’m presently coloring my hair with Got2B Sakura Pink which ends up looking fuchsia on my hair after I bleach it, but the color fades and starts to look dingy after about 6 weeks. I just started using this and so far it’s doing a great job of refreshing the pink tint so it looks newly dyed. I recommend this for anyone wanting to extend the life of a color job. In my experience it won’t deposit much color to untreated hair but it will add color when a base is there. The purple color is more fuchsia than the blueish purple the color shows. Highly recommended.

It gave such a refreshing look to my tired old lady white gray hair. Several people commented on how pretty it was, but they couldn't put their finger on what it was they saw. Others who did not know me even complemented how beautiful my mid back length white hair was. I will shampoo another few times to see if I can get the color to develop more intensely. At my age of 61 I have admired the color photos of older women who have their hair artic ice blue but fearful to try a permanent change but now this shampoo is giving me some baby steps to take to deepen the color to see how it fares. I hope to find someone I can trust who can do my color in the artic ice blue. The shampoo is drying initially; however, the results are worth it. So be sure once you shower and shampoo to have a really good OLD towel you don't mind staining and a leave in conditioner and hair treatment to leave on for some time to intensely detangle and soften the hair and give it shine. I was irritated upon arrival as the packaging was a bubble envelop and within there was a very thin bubble plastic cover??? When I opened it, the lid was busted, and color was everywhere and on me. However, I called Amazon immediately and their customer service was supreme! After I reported the issue, they promptly sent me another at no charge. I did suggest to Amazon that whoever packs the product needs to pack in a box with proper packing materials. Be careful as the color easily goes everywhere and gets on everything! It stains fingernails and hands for a little while so use gloves and avoid at all costs getting any of it on anything other than your hair! I would suggest that you keep it in your shower and leave it there!

As long as you have lighter hair or bleach first, this product is amazing. Use once a month for a subtle look or use weekly for a drastic purple! Way easy and cheaper than going to the salon to get the same look!

I can say it gradually deposits color very well. BUT each time I used this product to touch up my blue it would cause hair to fall out!! It also made my hair feel very VERY dry after using it. Definitely use with caution and follow up with a really good hair mask.
