L'Oreal Paris Studio Line Clear Minded Clean Gel - Strong Hold 6.8 fl; oz.

As a 40yr old with thick hair, I've been using hair gel products for 25 years. My favorite brand is American Crew. However, this brand works very well for the price point. It is a go-to for me and getting it on Amazon is far cheaper than in the grocery stores or Walgreens/CVS. It doesn't flake like cheaper gels. It has a mild scent and isn't overly sticky or thick like putty's. I have thick hair and am active with running and other sports. It holds-up under those conditions. Definitely a happy, repeat customer.

Really like the lightweight feel of this when using it on my hair. Holds my style very well and I don’t have to use additional hairspray to maintain my style!

I've been using this product for many , many years. I've bought this product 5 times now. The most recent was July 2025 and I paid $4.99. It's been $4.99 ever since I started buying it on Amazon. Now 9 months later the price has increased more then 50% ($2.60). I gave in and bought it , but I was not happy paying the higher price. This is why I gave it only 4 stars. As far as the product is concerned I've been happy with it all these years as it doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff or hard.

This hair gel does not have a perfumey smell, which is essential for me due to allergies. It holds very well. So it's a keeper on my buy again list.

Be aware!!!! I don’t like this deceiving advertising, And I wish Amazon would put a stop to it. It’s not the first time I’ve caught this…. In the description it says 6.8oz. When you look at pricing, it says 2 PK 3.4oz. Then one large one arrives. So I’m thinking where is the 2nd one? I thought it was a good deal getting a “2pk” my brain was on the main description, not paying attention to the description in the pricing. So I got what I paid for yes, but it’s deceiving. AND what if I really wanted the 3.4oz for traveling? Then, in arrived in a box, but the delivery photo showed a white envelope, not a big deal, but never saw the white envelope…maybe the driver came back and swapped packages…good on him I guess for taking the time

This gel is one of the better ones I’ve tried. The hold is strong and keeps my hair in place all day, but it doesn’t make it feel like a hard crunchy helmet. Goes on clear, dries fast, and I haven’t seen any of those annoying white flakes. Washes out super easy too, just one shampoo and its gone. A little goes a long way so you don’t need a ton, but the bottle still feels kinda small for the price. Pros: Strong hold that looks natural No flakes or residue Easy to wash out Cons: Can feel sticky if you over apply Overall, solid everyday gel that does what it says without the mess, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants strong hold with a more natural feel that doesn’t turn into a crunchy or flaky disaster.

Great product for styling coily curls in twist outs. I am Caucasian with 4C curls that tend to just frizz out.

This is the second bottle I bought…strong hold throughout the day, and I don’t have to reapply. Really good value for money and worth every penny.

If you are looking for a hair gel that holds your hair perfectly while being manageable without breaking your hair this might be the best option in the market while being a value for money.

Es el gel que se vende en Estados Unidos, diferente al que se vende en México, aun de la misma marca. Deja el cabello con una sensación más suave. Lo he comprado por muchos años.
