Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks have been used by illustrators since their introduction in the 1890's, where the main requirement was brilliance of color. Today they are formulated from a series of soluble dyes in a superior shellac solution. These inks can be applied with brush, dip pen or airbrush and are widely used by designers, calligraphers and artists as well as illustrators. All colors in the Winsor & Newton line of Drawing Inks are fully intermixable and they are easily diluted (with distilled water). Fast drying and water resistant, they have excellent adhesion on most surfaces.

Not consistent color
I bought this because I was looking for a bright red ink to use. However, I left it sitting on my beside table for a few months due to being busy, and when I went to use it again it was no longer red but an ugly brownish-gold color and no matter how much I shake it it refuses to go back to red. All of the other colors I bought have remained their colors, so I'm very disappointed this one hasn't done the same.

Color is great but block the regular fountain pen
I was warned that it would block the writing fountain pen, but ignored it with arrogance. My pens are cheap but enduring - have used over 20 years and still without problems. They didn't get along with this ink. The color is pretty. Just need to get something to write/draw with it.

Consistent Colour & Viscosity.
One of my favourite inks to both draw and paint with, the brick red is a colour I use very frequently. It is a consistent hue and viscosity, drying much like a shellac with a tough, lacquer-like sheen. I highly recommend this product--as well as all of Winsor & Newton's drawing ink colour variants.

Love my ink!
I've always loved Winsor and Newton products. Especially their inks! I have never used this color before. I always use the Indian ink. However, this is really nice!

Non va bene per le stilografiche
Sebbene il fabbricante abbia scritto sul coperchio della confezione che va bene anche per le stilo, ciò non è vero affatto. E' troppo vischioso e poco fluido e intasa i canaletti interni che alimentano il pennino. Va bene solo per il pennino libero con cannuccia. E' certo da disegno, in graziosa confezione mini e ha persino un profumo di marmellata, ma solo con i pennini nudi e crudi che si intingono volta per volta. Resiste all'umidità acquea ma l'alone appare comunque. Sulle pagine del taccuino Molenskine 9x14 può attraversare la pagina se allarghi molto il tratto. Parrebbe un buon prodotto per una pittura. Per le miniature non lo so, dato che ho notato che tende a fare goccia ma forse dipenderà dalla mia imperizia relativa. Tre stelle soprattutto perché intasa le stilo ed è solo per disegnare a penna o dipingere con un pennellino.

Inchiostro Winsor & Newton
L'articolo è arrivato nei tempi previsti.Winsor & Newton distribuisce fra i vari prodotti questi inchiostri di diversi colori: sono di qualità eccelsa e si prestano a diversi usi. Consiglio l'uso di carta con una quota di cotone al suo interno, al fine di far esaltare appieno la vivacità del colore.Inchiostro assolutamente consigliato.

Falsche Farbe?
Die Tinte sollte in der Farbe "Brick Red"/"Ziegelrot" sein, jedoch sieht die Tinte die ich bekommen habe grünlich/gelblich aus. Ich weiß nicht ob sie abgelaufen ist oder ob sie die falsche Tinte geschickt haben, so oder so bin ich mir ziemlich sicher das diese Farbe nicht "Brick Red"/"Ziegelrot" ist.

Non mi fa impazzire questa tonalità mi aspettavo una tonalità più intensa,ma comunque buon prodotto.

Es una especie de verde
Aparte de no tener que ver nada con el color rojo tiene un olor apestoso, supongo que estará pasada.
