Angel Bake Pure Bulgarian Rose Extract, 2 oz w/ Sprayer

I was looking for a rose extract to infuse flavor for Swiss merengue buttercream that I used as a filling for some rose flavored macarons. I had read a TON of reviews for so many different rose extracts being sold on Amazon. And I am so glad that I ended up ordering this one!! The prices vary widely on rose extracts and I feel that this one was a good value. Not too cheap but not too expensive. But the best thing about it is the beautiful flavor and aroma that it has. I’m glad I paid attention to a lot of the reviews that mention being careful not to add too much. I’m surprised that several reviews mention that they didn’t receive a dropper. Mine came nicely boxed in a glass bottle as well as a little glass dropper and a sprayer attachment! Those who mention using the dropper instead of pouring it into measuring spoons are correct. You’ve got better control and are less likely to add too much if you use the little dropper. I started out counting 10 drops then tasting, then adding in 10 more. I’d say 10 drops is probably around 1/8 of a teaspoon. I ended up using 50 drops. So roughly 3/4 tsp to a batch of Swiss merengue buttercream. I had also added some vanilla to it and I felt that it complimented the rose extract beautifully. Rose extract isn’t commonly used in American sweets, and the subtle flavor and aroma are a nice surprise! I think with this flavor it’s important not to use too much. So start with a very small amount and gradually add more if needed. Taking one bite leaves you with the flavor in your mouth of how a rose smells, in the nicest way, if that makes sense! After being so pleased with the rose extract, now I want to order the lavender extract too! I highly recommend this extract for the flavor, the quality, the value and that cute little glass dropper it comes with! It tastes exactly how I was hoping it would!! I highly recommend it!

Excellent quality extract. Although the price may appear steep, it has incredible potency and it projects lavender flavor and aroma perfectly. The bottle came sealed around the neck, with a dropper cap for controlled application. The extract itself is colorless and unsweetened. It evaporates quickly like alcohol, and it only takes 1.5 DROPS, not mL, to beautifully flavor a venti sized drink. I make my own flavored protein matcha lattes in an old Starbucks cup all the time and really wanted this flavor. When I tell you that this allows me to create the most wonderful blueberry lavender matcha lattes ever, I mean it! 💜

I love lavender. I don’t know why in the world extract flavoring cost so much. I’d like to purchase this more often but due to how much it cost I don’t. For the value of money it would be nice to receive double the ozs. It has a strong aroma.

I bought this because of the additional spritzer and dropper. The product is fabulous the packaging is fabulous but it's not the flavor I was looking for. I wish there was a a grading for more of a heavy dark flavor to a light sweet flavor when it comes to these extracts. But I suppose everyone has different expectations. I was looking for a light Sweet Rose flavor and this was not at all. I've tried using it as like perfume and the scent does not stay at all.

I bought this to use in my black milk tea (I drink mine cold or latte style) and not for baking. So take that into consideration. The first time I used it I really didn’t like it, but this was a user error. I knew I shouldn’t put too much otherwise the essential oils would come through too strong. Well, I put like three drops and I didn’t feel like it was strong enough. I put more and more until I could taste it and it was awful. So what I learned is that a few drops go a long way. If your not able to taste it with just a couple, then be patient and let it sit for a moment. If you let it sit just for a minute or two the flavor really gets in. I used just 3-4 drops this time, and I used a milk-frother mixer to incorporate the flavor (more effective than mixing with a spoon) and it turned out great that time. So if your looking for flavor without the traditional use of syrups this is actually a great option. There is a slight learning curve, so don’t give up after the first try because it does get much better. I will be using this again!

I purchased this Pure Bulgarian Lavender Extract to use in my coffee. I've tried it in muffin mix and other foods but, so far, I like the extra hint of flavor it gives to my morning brew. I'd buy it again, though it's very long lasting. The included dropper holds roughly 12 droplets. I use up to 6 drops in each cup of coffee. I don't use it every single day. It arrived a few months ago (late Summer?) and is still going strong even though it's now well past New Year. I hope you enjoy it!

I’ve been really happy with this purchase. It arrived in great condition, feels well made, and works exactly as described. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering it.

I love this product. I've used several bottles in recent years. But the shipment was not managed properly and Amazon caused multiple barriers to my getting even a refund. Belated shipping, days to investigate, requesting a front door picture (again) the day resolution was due (& when the shipping company had taken no photo of the arrival that could be compared with my image), sent a link to Amazon Medical instead of the stated photo upload function, repeated the error, denied using Credit Reversals, approved a regular credit without doing it at all, then asked me several times what I had already thoroughly covered about getting the refund finally, as if the POINT hadn't been made very clear several times on the call and in the growing contact log. Amazon had better remember their Selling Proposition. This is not why Amazon grew. This is why it will shrink. And the last rep's email mentioned I could comment via "buttons below," while including no such connections. Too bad for vendors of such a perfect product.
