Great wardrobe awful to put up!
We love this wardrobe now it is up. Is sturdy and look amazing.I can only reflect other reviews on here though. There are no instructions, you have to scan a QR code to get them and then they are not the easiest to follow, not helped either by the fact none of the parts are numbered. Took 2 people over 4 hours to put together. Can't faut the overall product though.

Good solid wardrobe, rail over rail/shelf gap is a bit too short.
This is a multi-product page, so customer reviews will be for various products. This review is for the Chicago 2 (sliding) mirror door Oak 203cm wardrobe, sold and dispatched by Interwood. I can’t say if my experiences would be the same with other products on this page or if other suppliers sell on this page.Purchasing:I really took a gamble ordering this online as colours can vary widely depending on the screen you are looking at and colour temperature differences between showroom and your bedroom, but it was pretty much how I saw it on screen.Delivery:The estimate for me when I ordered was just shy of 2 weeks, but it turned up earlier than expected. I had a call before to arrange delivery to ensure I would be home and I had a call 10 mins before arrival. 2 lads offloaded the van and placed the boxes in my hallway (you need to agree and maybe pay to have them taken upstairs – you arrange this with seller when arranging delivery). As my doors were mirrored, they opened the boxes to ensure that the glass was intact, which it was. Any glass breakage from that point on is your responsibility.Packaging:All (3) boxes were securely bound with polystyrene and hardboard plates to protect all the edges. When unpacked there was no damage to any of the pieces. The boxes are very heavy and it will need 2 strong people to carry them, especially the mirrored doors. You can unpack them downstairs and carry individual pieces up, but the doors will still need 2 people due to size and weight.Assembly:At least 2 people required. First off there are no instructions and you are told this beforehand. There is a video to watch and in terms of flat packs, this isn’t particularly challenging, but you do need to watch the video. There should have been a blow up diagram and YouTube video location in my box, but they were missing. I contacted the seller and 10 mins later I had what I needed via WhatsApp message. You need plenty of space to work in (for the 203cm) I had an empty double bedroom and pretty much needed it. Basic assembly is build the 3 internal uprights, top shelf and base when it is face down (make sure the internal uprights are the right way around). The long foot (stand) plates (1 front, 1 back) attach to the base via 4 dowel rods which is where you need to be careful. You cannot simply lift the wardrobe into place as the dowels will snap. The video shows the builders lifting the whole thing in the air and placing it onto the foot plates. No way could I do that, it is far too heavy! I left the foot plates off and lifted the wardrobe onto the base plate, leaned it back, attached the front foot plate, gently lifted forward, attached the back foot plate. At this point the wardrobe is unstable from sideways and back/forth movement. You then need to place the top middle upright and then the roof, which at this point needs to be held as it is like a seesaw and will easily break. The second person then offers up the end plate which has to line up with dowels in the foot plates, base plate, top shelf and roof. Repeat on the other side, but still being cautious that there is no side to side strength until the back boards go on. Before placing backboards, do your best to get the wardrobe as square as possible, it will make hanging the doors a lot easier. The backboards are nailed in around the edges and centre upright being careful not to go close to an edge and blow through the wood panel. As a precaution I also nailed across the top shelf. When done it can be slid into place – easier on my wood floor, you will need to be careful on carpet as the drag could rip out the feet – the wardrobe is pretty darned heavy at this point. When in place pop in shelves and rails to suit your needs. If you have one rail above another then clothing will touch the lower rail or base. You don’t need to use all the shelves, they are there only if you need them all, so you can miss them out if you want to hang dresses.Lastly, the mirror doors. These are monsters, but easy to hang with 2 of you. When they are in place if you find the doors are not squared up (e.g. touching bottom, gap at top), then the runner wheels can be adjusted to rotate the door (the screw hole is an arc). Once you have it right, put screws in the remaining holes of the wheel plate to prevent it slipping over time. The wheels have nice bearings, but they will need to be oiled from time to time as they take a lot of weight.End product:It took me a few hours and I made a mistake with an upright being the wrong way around, but it is a monster of a wardrobe. Big mirrors give the room a sense of space. And there is loads of room inside. It is sturdy, looks good and is really good value for money (£380 at time).Issues:No major issues, you just need to take time and care and you will need to have 2 able bodied people to do this. I am not the strongest of people, but thankfully I had a semi-pro rugby player help me. It is definitely a 2-person job, you cannot hold pieces in place whilst you assemble to side panels. The doors have a soft brush like edging that needs to be stuck to it to make the closure a bit quieter, mine keeps peeling off, so I had to put a spot of glue on it.If you want a shelf below the top rail, then clothes will come into contact with it making the shelf pointless. A rail above rail has a similar effect, adult medium t-shirts hanging on the top rail touch the bottom rail and the bottom rail t-shits touch the base. If you want free hanging, consider leaving all shelves out below the hangers and run the bars through all 4 sections. It annoys me that the clothing touches rails, but it is a small price to pay for the volume of space I now have.Rating:Would I buy it again – yes, definitely. It is a solid wardrobe and around half the price of some I was originally looking at that were smaller than this. I am giving it 4 stars because the images of hanging clothes do not represent the space you actually get (probably child’s clothes in the Amazon pic). Though the reality is, I would still buy this if it was just rails and top shelf, the shelves are there for you to use or not.

Love this wardrobe
I wanted to write a review as I read soMany and was prepared for not great instructions. So if you take time to review and read the instructions they do make sense, agree they are not simple to follow but spending time reviewing them helped a lot.The wardrobe is sturdy and needed 2 of us to put it together, it’s too heavy for 1 person. Some reviews i saw the doors we’re not meeting the wardrobe but they actually have adjustable wheels, ours had a gap but the OH moved the wheel which is adjustable for this reason and the door met the wardrobe. So all in all I am very pleased with this product. Take time to read the instructions and make sure two people put this together and remember the doors are adjustable by the base wheels 👍 love this wardrobe

One Year on and the doors fall off the rails frequently. Mirror has broken.
It’s certainly a lovely looking wardrobe, I’ve had this for almost one year. I had it professionally built to ensure it was assembled properly. One year on the back is coming apart, the sliding doors have fallen off the rail and now cannot be moved. Trying to move the door has chipped off a corner piece of glass that has broken into smaller pieces. I’m very upset with the quality.

Great Solid Wardrobe Poor Communication with Supplier.
Wardrobe is solid and plenty of storage Space 250 cm. Took ages to put up with 3 People. Instructions were poor but managed to get it put up with previous Flat Pack experience. However the Supplier gave me a Delivery Date which was perfect with me moving into my new house. They asked me did I want a assembly service. I said yes £140. Bit at 1630 Hours I called the delivery driver and he said they are not delivering as they are out of stock until after Christmas. I chased the supplier but they never answered. Finally got another date Christmas Eve and ended up at 1830 Hours. I got very blunt messages from the supplier and delivery drivers. Even though a great Wardrobe I would not buy from them again.

Shout out to Shoaib!
Great team behind this product. One of the side panels came in cut wrong, such things happen. Shot them a message and Shoaib replied, confirmed on video call that piece is faulty and arranged a replacement, even gave me some tips on how to build it.would buy again

It’s ok but not good for long term
- delivery was a pain, poor communication, ghosting in WhatsApp. Only after I complained via amazing they got it delivered straight after.- minor defects like chip, sliding doors aren’t closing fully- ok if not bothered about longevity. I wish I had invested on a better quality.- shipping is free which is positive whereas most companies charge a lot for delivery hence why I ordered from here.- got a flat pack professional to assemble and it took him 4hrs to get it sorted. It’s a pain to assemble many professionals we asked didn’t want to do the job because it lacked clear instructions.Basically just dont buy it
