As expected. The joints rotate so is easy to position once it is installed. For me it was easier to use another clamp instead of the one that comes with the elbow to ease the attach to the dryer’s end.

I had a blown fuse in my dryer and I decided to replace it. I also decided to do a thorough cleaning of the lint that was stuffed in the dryer. Everytime I pushed the dryer back to the wall, I noticed that the vent duct would be squeezed a lot because it was directly attached to the dryer. Once I disconnected the vent duct to remove the lint, I noticed how worn out and damaged the duct was since it had been this way for years. It had multiple leaks and a lot of dings around it. I also noticed how difficult it was to put the vent duct back into the dryer. I decided to do some research and I ended up getting this product. I also got the HVAC tape foil to wrap it around the ends of the connections to stop any leaks. The size of the product seems to be standard about 6 inches so it fit tight like a glove without a problem. The elbow duct seemed to be a bit expensive when compared to other similar products. However, when you have it in your hands, you can feel how the aluminum material in itself is very sturdy, thick and of good quality. The end result was more than what I expected. Everything came out great. Now connecting and disconnecting the vent duct off the dryer is a snap and everytime the dryer gets pulled out and pushed back into the wall, there's no more dings, warpings or opened leaks in it. If you happen to find yourself in a similar situation, I think you should definitely go for this upgrade.

I really wanted to like this product however the inlet to the dryer is much larger than the nozzle coming from the dryer, which I would assume is a standard size. Although it is well made it kept falling off the back of my dryer and I had to return it.
