Great little upgrade for performance and looks
Cool little upgrade for the ultra shocks, the photos don’t make it justice, they look great (just a little funny since they are smaller that the plastic caps), also they come with all the hardware you need (screws and washers) you only have to reuse the bladder, I installed them as preventative maintenance since I have read that the plastic caps tend to strip and pop off in hard landings and I was worried the threads on the shock body could get damaged

Awesome, hop up part.
These cheap parts are a must have for any traxxas. Shock upgrade. I was getting tired of my shock Popping off all the time. So I bought these and haven't had an issue since. Very durable and I like the way they make my truck look.

One of the best and cheapest performance upgrades.
I have these on a 2WD Traxxas Slash. Easy to install and look nice, too. Upgrading to aluminum shock caps keeps the caps from popping off like the stock plastic ones can. Do this when your RC is new and avoid the hassle of blown shocks.

Must have for big jumps!
These shock caps are a must have if your jumping your truck or buggy more then 5 feet in the air. The standard plastic caps just can't handle big air jumps repeatedly. These caps come very nicely packaged and also include cap head screws with washers. The included cap head screws use a 2.5mm allen head bit which is common. These are a much better solution compared to the stupid plastic spacers Traxxas includes with the big bore shocks. Overall these are really well made and offer a cost effective solution to improve durability and also add some nice eye candy to your rig.

THESE DO NOT FIT THE TRAXXAS SLASH ULTIMATE.
NOT FOR SLASH ULTIMATE. Don't confuse Ultra shocks and Ultimate shocks. Kinda misleading so I deducted a star. I put them on my Bandit and they look nice and have held up to my bashing so far.

Blue shock end caps great upgrade
Be shock end caps are perfect. I thought they were the wrong ones at first because they seem small. But once I got them out they fit right in place and are very sturdy.

If you have a low bottom clearance traxxas like the rustler bandit or slash get this it will prevent shocks from popping open when you play hard with them. The only truck I have that didn't pop yet even after hard use is my stampede.

An absolute must for first upgrade to any Traxxas vehicle
Stock plastic shock caps pop of too easily. Replaced with these aluminum ones, and now thrashing to my hearts content. Hard day at the skate park with my Slash 4x4, zero fails!
