Simple tool that does a great job and helps individuals to rely less on others to get dressed.
The BodyHealt Sock Aid is a wonderful tool for anyone who has trouble bending over due to an injury, surgery, etc. You slip your sock over the bottom of the aid, lower it to the ground using the handles, put your foot in as far as you can manage, and then use the handles to pull the sock aid towards your body. The sock slips over your foot without you needing to bend. I was given this simple item after I had my first back surgery. I was able to be more self-sufficient without harming myself or any pain. I continued to use this product after each of my surgeries as it is very durable. I highly recommend it for those of any age that have restrictions regarding bending, range of motion, etc.

Easy to use, works great
I live that I can put on my own socks. I had back surgery and won't be bending over for awhile and I wanted to be as independent as possible. Some of my socks are small and it's a little hard to get the sock all the way on, but once it's on there it is so simple to use and works perfectly. I highly recommend it.

This one always works for me....
The old standby that always works. It is a "no - brainer". I tried another one and it was junk for me as I am huge at 400 lbs. If your back is bad and if you need just a little extra help when the grand kids are not around, this will work if you can bend a little and get your foot in the holder. I wore out one of these and immediately ordered another one when the old one finally split. I love these reviews as they are a good way not to get shafted as us old folks usually take it in the shorts on all kids of crap. The old, "Fat Norwegian" continues to get more savvy when ordering Chinese junk.......

Ropes too thin and soft!
This was a replacement for a similar styled sock-donner I've been using for years but the plastic is cracking and splitting at the end. This is slightly larger than the older one so it is more comfortable to put my foot into it and so into the sock. However, the sock comes off the plastic a bit faster so it sometimes comes off the device before your toes are fully into the sock. Also, the rope included is longer, thinnner and softer than what I was used to using. I already had to put knots to shorten the ropes on the old device so I knew I would on this one. Even a triple know below the foam cushions weren't enough to keep the cushion from, at least partially, pushing onto the knots! The rope was just to soft and stretchy to hold a big enough knot!I ended up taking the ropes off the old, cracked device and putting them on this device. NOW, it works the way I expect - a bit easier to get my foot into it and hold in place while I pull the sock onto my foot.I still have the issue that some socks don't like to fit onto the device easily. However, it's no more difficult to get knee socks on this thing than the old one. The difference in size isn't that great - just enough to make it more comfortable for my foot.I just got it last week so it will take time to know any long-term durability information.

Sock Assist & Sock Helper
I have severe osteo arthritis in both knees. It is very difficult for me to put my socks on. I absolutely love this aid. It makes putting my socks on fast and easy. It has helped me so much that I bought one for my sister for Christmas. She also loved it.

Foot size matters
I bought this as I am recovering from a hip replacement and currently cannot bend past 90 degrees.I am a male with an 11-11.5 shoe size. I also prefer a 'wider show" when available. This item, while it works, is not easy. It hurts my feet and the 'muscle power" to get the sock on is significant. I found when I applied some corn starch to my foot it provided enough "lubrication" to work better but that's not something I want to do every day.On the other hand my wife tried it with her women's 7.5 shoe size and it worked effortlessly and painlessly. So in summery the smaller the foot the better it works and conversely at 11.5 men's shoe size it becomes very problematic.

Rea 69yr old Tough Biker Dude nearly cried!!! Thats how Good! Updat
Due to several surgeries on right leg i am not able to bend it enough or twist it at the hip. I thought whst the heck... Give it a try for $9... It came in yesterday.... Opened it up, slid a " footie " onto the tube, no adjustment. Put on floor, slide foot into tube and pulled ropes... 2-5 secounds footie was on foot, no pain in hip!!!! I said to myself cant be that ez... I took sock off.. And saw a compression sox on desk. It rook a little work, maybe a minute or two most to bunch the sox onto tube... The put it on the floor and stepped into it.i have had tears in my eyes for 3-4 years, bending and twisting hip.... This tube thing got the sox stsrted over my toes and onto foot far enough to before slipping off, that i could grab and pull the sock on the rest of the way. NO ICE PICK STABBING PAIN IN HIP!!!! For the first time in years... 69 yr old biker dude almost shed a tear of joy!!! IT WORKS!!!!!!! Should have bougjt one years ago!!!
