Inzer Forever Lever Belt
WHY I PURCHASED:I powerlift. I had used belts belonging to friends and found the quality of my friends Inzer belt to be higher than the others. However, I am not a fan of prong belts and chose to go for the Inzer Lever.SHIPPING:I ordered Sunday night just before midnight, it shipped Monday and I had the belt in hand on Thursday. I live in AZ just to give you an idea, you might see a day more or less depending on distance of shipment but I feel it shipped quite fast.QUALITY OF MANUFACTURING:The quality of the belt I received is solid. The belt shows no signs of separation or bad craftsmanship. The stitching is uniform and the lever assembly functions flawlessly and seems very secure compared to the lever I had felt on my friends Quest belt.SIZING:So that you have an idea of sizing for larger lifters, I'm 6'5" and measured exactly 45" around my middle back/naval section. I order the XXL belt and when placing the lever found that it isn't perfectly in the middle of the available holes. So with a 45" midesection, the XXL offered plenty of room to gain or loose.BREAK IN:The belt arrived VERY stiff. This is a good thing and a sign of quality material used. Do not fear a stiff belt. I broke the belt in by rolling it up back and forth, which is standard break in procedure for a lifting belt. It took about 20 mins of doing so for it to feel noticeably more "relaxed" and comfortable.USE:I wore the belt for a squat session a few hours after receiving it and breaking it in via the above described rolling. I was programmed to taper up to 475lbs for 8 singles and then hit 275lbs for as many reps as possible(AMRAP). Usually by the time I hit the AMRAP portion my lower back and posterior chain are pretty spent, even when using my buddies' belts. This was not the case during this session. I completed the AMRAP portion and then proceeded onto accessory work with my back feeling awesome. I'll contribute this to the quality of the Inzer Forever belt, as my food intake and sleep were both in the norm that day.OVERALL:I would definitely recommend this Belt to anyone interested. I know that some people complain about pain from rib/hip contact but that is just due to the 4" width of the belt, which is the standard sizing for any lifting belt of this type and does not reflect on the brand its self. People who feel rib or hip pain are either wearing the belt in the incorrect position for that lift (you'll wear the belt slightly different for a deadlift than a squat) or they are adjusting the belt too tight/loose. Im tall at 6'5", so I have more than enough space to play around with belt positioning but I know many lifters in the 5'8"-6'0" range that use 4" belts perfectly fine with no complaints. You just have to use it correctly. The price of the Inzer may be higher than other brands you'll find on Amazon but I believe in the "buy once and cry once" philosophy. You'll be buying a lifetime product with the Inzer for sure.

Must be set tight enough to stay closed
Love this belt!!!! The lever action is the way to go! You can relax it in between sets and tighten it back up in a heart beat! I got the 10 mm and was using right away very comfortably. I’m sure as it breaks in it will become even more comfortable. Keep in mind with any lever belt.... they need to be fairly tight to keep them from popping open.... definitely a great piece of gear

Awesome but ouch!!!!
I've never used a lever belt before and have been training with out one for quite some time. All I have to say it's a love hate relationship. The belt is heavy duty it meet IPF and USAPL standards and it's a extremely dense belt. I'm a chubbier guy so it does pinch my fat while equating and deadlifting, this belt has to be broken in. You will have bruising and it will hurt. Start at a comfortable tightness use it a month then tighten it again.

Expect pain, but it is ok
This belt will last a lifetime, but do not expect to put it on on day 1 and have it be as comfortable as a well worn pair of boots. It won’t be !It will take some time to get used too, not a day, a week, or a month , this will break in over time. This belt replaces my 1994 purchase, to give you an idea

I've been using for a couple years now. Has gotten better with use, more comfortable but has not broken down.
