Camarm Silicone Protective Camera Body Case Cover for Canon 80D (Black)

I got this for use on my Canon 80D. A very snug fit. It feels like a second skin. It gives a good grip, kinda rubberized. All the buttons line up exactly & the cut outs are perfect as well. The only knock is that it makes removing the eye piece difficult, so I am not using the Canon supplied slip on cover for the view finder (the removable eye piece must be removed before the cover can be slipped on). The hot shoe is covered by a flap, so attaching an external flash should be easy. The icons on the buttons is a little difficult to make out since the contrast on the small buttons shows little detail (especially for us old timers), but since most users will have memorized what button does what, looking for the icons shouldn't be a problem. As the case gets older, dirt will probably make the icons easier to see.It may fit too snugly the 1st time. Mine was tight around the shutter release, so the AF button next to the release button was held dow and wouldn't let the button return to it's upright position. I fixed it by stretching the section of cover that covers the hand grip area. After a day, the cover stretched out to allow free movement of the AF button. We'll see how good the case protects the camera body when my daughter returns from a weekend trip with my camera.

Pros: As expected it protects my camera from scratches and light impacts. It covers most of the camera included the top buttons which add extra protection. The only part that is not protected is the screen frame which was expected since the screen is fully articulated. All the camera buttons are usable with exception of the AF area selection mode button (read below).Cons: It tends to catch dust so, no matter is black, it looks dirty due to the grayish and white dust spots it catches. The other thing is that the small AF area selection mode button that is located at the front of the camera becomes unusable with this body case. I had to carefully cut out the case to be able to reach that particular button and still is a little bit hard to reach it, but at least I'm able to use it now.

Fits perfect and will hopefully keep the camera a lot safer from the typical handling bumps and scrapes from constant use. Great idea now if they had something similar that fit over some of my lenses, (silicone rings that you put on the main barrel and front (just behind sunshade bayonet.) I have a long list of other applications.

It`s indeed a great product, but I`d like to add my personal "but".IF you shoot manual, I do not recommend this. It`s just not practical to use the dials for aperture and shutter speed with this case.Also as already mentioned by other, the AF area selection button becomes completely unusable, so you WILL have to use a knife to work on it.

Fits very well. If you are like me and used to using the top right buttons instead of the quick menu and your panel, and don't always remember which button is iso and which is shutter mode for example, keep in mind this camera condom covers the buttons. So just use quick settings it is faster anyway.

Look very cheap, not feet well.Can't see the button function.Some of the buttons doesn't work well.

Excellent case!! I just took a two week trip to Israel and I am SO glad I purchased this body case for my dslr! I use a body strap, so having the silicone case around the camera was just what I needed for that extra protection. I would highly recommend getting one of these!!

Keeps my investment safe and looks cool too. I tend to drop things my camera wasn't one of them. This is fantastic and looks cool too.
