This vacuum sealer works really well and is very easy to use. It seals both dry and moist foods perfectly and helps keep food fresh for much longer. The machine feels sturdy and works quickly without any hassle. Great value for the price and very useful for everyday kitchen storage. Highly recommended!

The dependable vacuum sealer! We purchased our original NutriChef food vacuum sealer in August of 2018, it had worked perfectly for us over the years, no problems or issues and saved us a lot of money. The quality of this product is undeniable, years of service to us and now we have purchased a new one. It comes with easy-to-follow instructions, low noise level, works great for dry or wet storage and food preservation. The unit is very compact, takes little space on the counter and has a nice look to it. Long lasting tool and a very good price.

I have had my NutriChef vacuum sealer, model pkvs20sts for 3 days now and I had already sealed 57 items before putting it away. We prepared a spot to store it and all the sealing bags so I put it away and it's new spot in it's box, 2 hours later I dragged it out again and sealed 10 more things. It's fun, works well and it is extremely simple to use. The only things you want to watch is that you try to keep the inside of the bag is clean as you possibly can where it's going to be sealed, to help me in this I tried to order bags that had a wide opening so it was easier to get things past it without getting it wet or contaminated. it came with a roll that I started using first and they are very versatile because you can cut it any length you want. Keeping with the wide opening I would imagine for me the best role to pick would be one that's really long opening wise and then I can cut it any length I want allowing easy access to put in whatever it is I'm sealing. I purchase a lot of bags which I like better for convenience because you don't have to cut them, seal them before you can put anything in them and they are what I have. Another thing to watch for is don't get the bag with a wrinkle in it where the seal will go as it will let in air. I only sealed three bags with something wet, prepared tuna fish for sandwiches. The sealer will run the vacuum until it reaches a point where it automatically turns on the seal mode fusing the bag shut, but I chose with the tuna fish to watch the liquid start to move towards the machine and then I hit the seal button manually myself so as to not let any liquids potentially go into the vacuum. Being a man, I didn't read all the instructions so I don't know if this is proper or not but it's what I've chosen to do. It's so fast and easy to use for many things I can see using it most the time instead of zip bags or storage containers. I don't drink wine so the wine stopper is untested at this point. I'm excited to find out what the canisters are so I can try using those. If you get one I hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying mine.

I love this thing and use it to seal everything now! I had one in the past but it was hit and miss sometimes on both getting it to seal...and keeping sealed (they seemed to randomly leak air after a while.) It's very compact so I keep it put away until I need to use it. I have tried both dry and moist foods and it seems to work great on both (there is a setting for each.) Plus if you just want to seal something without vacuum, it does a great job of that too. I use the MakMeFre bags with this and have never had a puncture (even when I seal homemade beef jerky.) They work great and are very affordable. Get this sealer and you won't be disappointed!

If I could give zero stars I would. My recent email: I am reaching out in frustration. In September, my husband and I purchased a vacuum sealer. Within a month the item would no longer properly seal our food. We went through a replacement process and received a new one. I believe we received the new one sometime in November. Today my husband went to vacuum seal $80 dollars worth of meat we recently purchased only to find that again the vacuum sealer will release the seal during the final sealing process. We have used multiple types of bags to have the same result. At this point we do not expect a new item. We purchased the exact sealer multiple years ago, and it worked great until it finally gave out. We have now had two in less than 6 months to now be out money from the purchase of a new sealer, and now potentially $80.00 worth of meat. We are a one income family and rely on the vacuum sealer when we come across deals on meat. All you have done is now cost us money. I will make it my life goal to make sure no one else is put in the position my family has been with your product.

I love this vacuum sealer! I had debated for years on buying a vacuum sealer and saw this one at such a reasonable price I decided to get it and am so happy I did. It is easy to use, works like a charm and fits easily in my cabinet. It sucks all the air out and seals perfectly in seconds. I have not used it to seal any thing that is pure liquid so I can not comment on that but for everything I have used it for it works great. I mainly use it to seal meats and pre-prepped breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Makes it easy to buy a large package of meat and seal them for our individual dinners. I will typically freeze everything first, place them in bags and make sure to press down the top on both side until I hear the "click" press the button and it works its magic. I would certainly buy another one if this one ever wears out and highly reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a vacuum sealer.

I really think this product works well but not for the money. I gave it an average rating due to its functions and inconsistency. The touch pad gets stuck and after 4 months of use it no longer seals and when plugged in the vacuum goes on without touching any commands

1. There is a lot of plastic waste with this device. It may be true with other devices as well so I don't know if this complaint has value only for this product, or if it's an indictment of all vacuum sealers. 2. It's tricky to get the best vacuum for the product before it auto-seals. 3. If you have a lot of fast turn-around in the freezer, (weeks rather than months) I think you're better off using ziplock bags and not bothering with a vacuum seal. At least ziplock bags can be washed and reused. These are all single-use plastics. 4. This product is best used for items that go in your freezer for a month or more at a time. My turn-around time is shorter than that. 5. Perhaps the cost per item is actually higher than buying ziplock bags. I haven't run the numbers, but the machine is pricey (but not the most expensive one you can buy), and the plastic rolls are expensive too.

It stopped working after 2 months. No service centre or any repair centre. Extremely bad experience. Don't buy...
