Crossfire needed a stim-patch. This is the one, chummers.
If you've played Crossfire enough to actually use the karma system, you're going to want this. The new karma upgrades, new missions, new roles, new obstacles and new black market goodness are exactly what Crossfire needed for me to want to play it again after experiencing most of what the game had to offer. I thought maybe the Drone Rigger and Social Adept would have their own black market items and obstacle cards that would get shuffled in when those characters were in the game, but the way they actually did it keeps everything balanced without requiring so much sorting at the end of the game (looking at you, Legendary). To use the Rigger, swap out either the Street Samurai or the Hacker. To use the Adept, swap out either the Mage or the Face. Both new roles have different starting decks reflecting their specializations. Using one seems to make the game more challenging than using both. If you've played for any length of time, you should be able to jump right into 3 of the 5 new missions with no problem. I haven't even tried the other two yet and I already believe I got my money's worth. High Caliber Ops is the best kind of expansion that revitalizes a game just as it was starting to feel "samey".

Great expansion for an already great game
This is a great expansion, it comes with 5 new scenarios, 5 new pages of sticker upgrades, new role cards the social adept, and the drone rigger, which are unique because in a two player game you can pick one and the starting deck is unique to the role, 30 new black market cards, 48 new level one obstacles and level 2 obstacles, 32 new basic cards with different art compared to the base game, but nothing else is new about the basic cards, and a handy rule book with little FAQ about the new scenarios. I wouldn't call this a big box expansion but I wouldn't call it a small box expansion either, it comes with everything you would want. The five new scenarios I cant review them all, because some I'm not quite upgraded enough for, but the ones I have tried are great. And the new cards from this box mix right in with the base game. Also the base game IS required to play this expansion. It also plays 1-4 players. My wife and I love deck building games, and since this new expansion, it has reignited our love of shadowrun Crossfire, we cant wait to dive back into this game some more. If you own the original, then you must buy this expansion

Solid innovative DBG
Solid puzzler, odd balancing under 4 players. Needs tweeks to play at 2 for sure - which might *officially* be coming. With Dragonfire getting the love, Crossfire's fate might be uncertain. Hard to see owning both in any case. The basic puzzle is the same. Right now, SRCF is leaner and meaner, with Dragonfire being over-produced ed and bloated. Not a fan of legacy style stickers in any game, and both have them.

made for original Shadowrun Crossfire, but can work with Prime Runners Edition
This is the only expansion I've gotten so far to go along with my Prime Runner's Edition of Shadowrun Crossfire.one thing to note, the card back colors are just a smidge off compared to PRE... so, if that annoys you, you might need to get some card sleeves.Other than that, this set works decently well with the new PRE changes.

Almost a must-have expansion.
I very much enjoy the new classes that this expansion adds. The dual color cards for the marketplace are a neat addition as well. Now that I've played with this, I won't play the base game anymore. Also included are several more ability stickers, supposedly offering a greater variety of options in the 10 point range.

High-Caliber = High-Fun
Great new missions and awesome new obstacles and black market cards...highly recommended if you enjoy the base game. One of the few expansions of a game I consider a must buy.

An awesome expansion to an already great game. If you like the base set, pick this up. The new roles and black market cards are worth it.
