Bellacia Organics Fresh Fuyu Persimmons 5 Lbs Box

We recently moved from California to a part of the country where I can’t find Fuyu persimmons anywhere and since they’re one of my favorite fruits I really, really missed them. I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. The persimmons arrived in a timely manner and they are delicious. I’m really happy to have them available to me again, even if they are a little expensive. Great fruit and great company.

I sent a 5lb box as an early Christmas gift to my Mom. She LOVED them! She said they all arrived perfectly and at varying degrees of ripeness so she could eat them over the course of a few weeks. Great seller, will buy again.

Six of the persimmons were rotten and uneatable and had to throw away. Two were over ripe and had cut the bad parts out. The rest were delicious. Probable too late in the season to order

I love, love, love these persimmons! Simply delicious when shipped correctly. Always received mine in perfect condition in padded envelopes from this shop (3 deliveries since last year, expecting a 4th shipment next week). A different seller threw them all in a box without sufficient padding and the fruit was spoiled.

This is my first negative review ever. These are the worst Fuyu persimmons I have ever had and the most I have ever paid for them. $75 dollars for 5 pounds! None ripe or close to it. Most are dark brown inside. I've never seen this before. So far I have tried to eat 5 that actually were orange inside but they were astringent and I couldn't eat them. I have never had a Fuyu that was astringent amd made me pucker. I messaged the seller but have had no reply. Apparently, no refunds or returns. I just ordered 5 pounds of non-organic ones from a different seller that were half the price and I know they will be good. I've ordered them multiple times. Lesson learned...I will wait a bit longer for this other company to have them in stock. No response from seller.

Five lbs. came out to 15 persimmons, and they were securely and carefully packed. Five were overripe but considering that I bought in late December, it’s a decent ratio. I was planning to pulp some to make muffins so it wasn’t a problem. Of the rest, three weren’t quite ripe yet, and seven were perfect. It’s a bit shameful how quickly I’ve been gobbling them up!

Got my persimmons today. They were wrapped well, double and triple wrapped. I would never have been able to purchase this large of a quantity of persimmons for the price I paid so it's a GREAT VALUE. One was 'squishy' which was fine as ripeness heightens the sugar content. I rinsed it and chowed down on it. Thank you for making these available to those of us who don't live in climates where persimmons grow. I look forward to doing business with you again and will recommend Bellacia Organics to my family and friends.

I truly love persimmons. This order I rec'd big beautiful ripe/near ripe fruit. Previous order contained smaller crunchier but sweet fruit which was fine. I suspect the current order is end of season product. Either way both orders met w/ my satisfaction. Would order from this company again.
