I tried many test flares with this kit. Here are my impressions:- Tubing cutter is top notch. Honestly one of the best I've seen. Very sharp wheel and smooooth action.- Deburring tool is good. Plastic body but the blades work nicely- Cone tool is really well made. The action is smooth and the flare finish is superb - literally a mirror finish. Produces a better finish than the mainstream Rigid and Mastercool brands.- Flaring clamp bar - here's the issue. Biggest problem is the 1/4" flares it produces are offset (not concentric)- this was the deal breaker for me since I'm using it to install mini split ACs. The other issue is there's no easy way to index the amount of stick-out of your tube of any size to produce a flare with a consistent diameter. Finally, it gouges the copper to a mildly objectionable degree when you grip the tube (not enough to really worry about, but should be improved.The issues with this kit come down to quality control. It's really close to being an outstanding flaring kit. The clamping bar is really the only sticking point. If they fixed it, this would be a an absolute winner which would beat out rigid, mastercool and yellow jacket.

I used this to install my mini split system. The system came with „factory flanges“ those were rough and terrible!I cut them off and made new ones with this tool. Absolutely great looking flanges, shiny surfaces.The tool has a clutch that disengages when the flange is done. They forgot to mention this in their description. The included tubing cutter and reamer worked well too.Unfortunately the description that comes with it is not good, but come on, there are tons of videos on the internet, this is a standard tool. It’s every bit as good as the ones that cost double and triple as much. And the other ones don’t come with reamer and cutter. If you can’t figure out how this works with those videos, you should probably reconsider doing this work yourself 😊I highly recommend this tool. And you can’t really beat the price.

I used this to flare a 6mm soft copper tube and it worked great. The wobble effect of the die works really well in forming the flare. The clutch is nice preventing over-forming of the flare. All of the pieces in the included case are very nicely made. Overall I'm very satisfied with it.
