Patissier has no throw while lit. Also, it has tunneling from the get go. If you must buy this (and why would you?), grab the melon scent. The melon scent has a small throw in the sample size tin.

When I opened the package, this is the condition the candles were in. Can’t even see the wick, in the smaller 2. The wax was all over the outsides of the candles & was really messy.

Such good quality, in a great gift box, would definitely buy this again!

I really wanted to like this gin and tonic candle since I do enjoy gin and tonics. I'm not sure what I expected (lime and pine, maybe?), but I barely got any scent out of this candle. That's a shame, because it came in a nice box with two small tins of the other scents, which smell amazing and are much stronger (a fruity mellon and a sugary cookie candle). Makes me wish I'd picked one of them, especially the cookie one.

This lovely candle came in a large gift box packed with two additional sample sized candles. What a lovely and unexpected surprise. The main candle comes in a pretty turquoise glass jar. It has a wide mouth and sits on a narrow clear base. The double wicks and large opening facilitate a strong "throw" so that you can really smell it, even from the next room. The fragrance is sweet and candy-like, heavy on the vanilla. Not a particularly sophisticated scent, but nice for holiday time. Because it has two wicks and the jar is fairly shallow, burn time is minimal (the advertised 35 hours is about right), but not bad. The smaller candles are Melon Sorbet and Gin & Tonic. I haven't burned them yet, but they smell sweet and pleasant.

Wonderful. On opening the package I was a little concerned as the gin and tonic candle smelled sickeningly sweet and strong, which was less than ideal as I had a hangover at the time, but when I lit it I found the scent was quite subtle. It's a very sweet scent so I wouldn't recommend it if you're in the mood for something fresh, but I find it very pleasant.The large candle comes with a couple of small tea light sized sample candles, including melon sorbet and patissier. I've yet to try the melon, but the patissier is very nice.

Really love the look of this candle. Reminds me of an "antique" type of look/appearance. It's presented really pretty in a well packaged box, very giftable without needed gift bags, etc. The candle scent isn't really strong, it's one that you can definitely burn and enjoy the scent. You do receive two smaller candles, the scents of these candles are stronger, but, would make good stocking stuffers for the Holiday season.

Gorgeous candle that is simple in appearance and yet interesting and novel at the same time. And what a fun color. Fabulous aroma that is bright and citrusy, absolutely reminiscent of a caricature of a gin and tonic in the best way. It is very strong, but I prefer that. If it begins to overpower a room, just put the cap on! Comes packaged in a bit of a gaudy wrap, but underneath, the more tamed grey box is classy and understated. Very giftable. And at $16 it’s a superb value! I love it! 5 stars.
