Great Coffee, Brewed with Style
This product is stylish, practical, and very well- made. I am a total coffee nut, drinking between 4-5 cups a day of the stuff. I've used just about every method of brewing coffee that is available, including french press, a classic basket coffee maker in college, numerous different pour over filter methods, a keurig at my first office, a percolator I found in a thrift store, and several different commercial and home espresso makers. This pour over coffee maker and pot is by far the best bang for my buck that I've ever had when it comes to making coffee. I love the metal filter that comes with this pot because it preserves the natural oils of the coffee without the grit you get in a French press. Cleaning it is also a snap. I just dump the grinds from the filter, wipe out the residue with a paper towel, and rinse with warm water. It's also dishwasher safe.If you're even a little bit on the fence about getting this, as I was because of the price, I can guarantee you that you are going to get a far better brew from this than the cheaper plastic alternatives. I'm so happy I splurged a bit; it was totally worth it!

Temperature issues
I'm not a huge coffee person. I just have a tiny kitchen. I drink one cup of coffee per day most days, and my husband prefers iced cold brewed coffee. So when my Keurig broke I thought something small like this might be a good option for me. Based upon reviews, the biggest complains involved slowness, cold coffee, and clogging. But overall it looked good and I decided to give it a try.I've had mine for 8 months now and haven't had any problems with clogging. I also don't have any complaints with the time it takes to make a cup, at least as far as having to wait. I do have a problem with temperature. It was purchased in September and was fine for several months. But once the weather turned cold (along with the kitchen), I found my coffee was only lukewarm. It wasn't taking longer to brew or getting clogged, it's just the design lets in lots of air that cools it down too quickly in a cold room. I tried filling the carafe with boiling water and letting it sit while I boiled more water for my regular cup, but that didn't really help. It was especially frustrating since I have a phin filter that I've used successfully in the winter and it keeps the coffee hot. The Osaka set doesn't. There's too much air circulation. I ended up buying a cheap coffee maker and using it during the winter. Now that spring is here I've reclaimed the counter space and am using the Osaka again, but obviously this isn't the best solution. If you live someplace warm, this may be a good option for you. For those of us in colder houses in colder climates, it leaves something to be desired.

It works great!
I like everything about this product. It's easy to clean and only takes about one to two minutes to drip. Very strong cup of Joe.Except the fact I ordered red and they sent me blue. It shouldn't be a big deal but it does bother me a bit because my kitchen is red and I wanted similar or like colors. Not bright blue. Looks out of place.

Excellent..
Excellent......I just use the metal filter screen.....I tossed the glass pot and the red rubber band around the filter screen....the only problem is cleaning but since I do not use a filter for a fuller coffee flavor that is my fault.....make sure you do not put the coffee grounds down the drain....I take the filter to the trash and scoop out the used coffee grounds with a spoon then wipe it with a paper towel and then rinse it in the sink and dry.

Started out promising...
This was really great AT FIRST. It's easy to use & made some delicious coffee. However, after some basic use, it has now stopped filtering so well or gets completely clogged. Cleaning it doesn't seem to help. Due to the filtering issues, the coffee no longer tastes good. Also, this does not make 5 standard-sized mugs of coffee, more like 2-3.
