Q: Is it possible to purchase an extra bow like the one it comes with?

Yes. After I bought this, a bow ad came up for me. The bow it comes with works just fine.

Q: I have a Zither Heaven psaltery whose base pins no longer hold their position so the instrument no longer can be tuned, any suggestions?

Is this bowed psaltery our current model, does it have a maple pin block area or is it solid cherry. If it has a black walnut stripe down the middle it is our current model. We have never had one loose zither pin on any of our psaltery's. Please send this instrument back to me, at Zither Heaven,3177 Latta Rd., Rochester NY 14612. I will repair or replace at my expense. It most likely won’t come tuned but you can find some good “how to” videos on YouTube.
