This is an excellent tool, aside from being a powerful well constructed unit, it has a couple of features that I really like; the positive (and easy to locate) lock, and the paddle switch, which is a huge improvement over the sliding variety.

Trusted brand
Bosch is always my trusted brand for electric tools. This Ergonomic Angle Grinder worked nicely for my deck project with strong power and ease in use. The only consideration was that it did not come with a blade so I need to buy one separately.

Affordable and indispensable tool
Great tool to have when doing woodworking or renovating. Convenient and powerful. A bit harder for my hands to hold button down to change blades but still worth every penny.

I was happy to find this particular model. I ordered a new one but recieved either a display model or a refurbished unit. Original packaging was missing as well as the mounting hardware for attachments. They usually come packaged with a cut off disc. That too was missing. I feel like it should have been discounted. Fortunately I kept the unit that I was replacing with this one so I took the mounting hardware from it.

Reliable
I bought this with a specific masonry project. The locked on feature was a huge benefit and there was lots of power. Relatively light weight compared to my older (different brand) tool. I have used it on several occasions and have always been pleased with its performance whether on metal or stone. Of course the right disc for the right project does have a lot to do with the final result.

Did the job with ease.
Grind 650 ft.² of floor with a diamond grit disc and a desk collector and everything worked perfectly. The grinder performed flawlessly and the anti vibration grip does just that.
