Contigo Autospout EMW6504120, 24oz, Radiant Orchid

Can't break like glass, clear so I can see the water level, has a nice straw and mouth dispenser so I can drink with head straight ahead, and the lock feature is awesome too. No spills if it turns over. I have been through a lot of water bottles, and this is the one for me.

I like this style of water bottle better than the new style (I currently have both). This is probably our 6th one I purchased (mostly from local stores) for various reasons. The mouth spout is easier to clean and the hard plastic doesn’t move as much as the new one. My daughter uses a water bottle every day and by far this is her favorite. It is easy to clean (I put it in the dishwasher), easy to bring around (has a clip to clip it on the backpack), locks easily so it doesn’t open, and large enough for a decent amount of water. I like the price as well. I will continue to buy this style (hard straw inside that screws on) as long as I can find them. After that I haven’t decided. Recommend and wish they wouldn’t have changed the bottle.My only downfall is the mouth piece is changing color to a dingy yellow after 5 months of using ONLY water! (See picture) Minor though. Recommend this style over the new one.

I like the Contigo brand, and found it to produce reliable products. This waterbottle is no exception. I like that the mouthpiece can be tucked to prevent contamination, and the plastic is thick and durable. The only drawback is that when you open the mouthpiece (pressing a button to fling it up towards the front), a small amount of water is released. It is a very small amount, but I can see where it would bother some people. I just put my finger in front to not have it fling up as quickly, so water doesn't come out. Additionally, if the mouthpiece is tucked, no water comes out of the waterbottle; but if the mouthpiece is out, some water will leak out. Not enough to ruin a bag, but enough to damage nearby electronics. I just use it to hydrate at work, so none of these issues affect me, but I'll put it out there.

I’ve always loved my camelback water bottle similar to this one and I’ve bought about 3 of those but they always leak which is horribly frustrating. I bought this to replace it and I should have bought it sooner, it has everything I want in a water bottle. I like the straw b/c I find I drink more water with them, but I hate when the spout is exposed. On this one the spout is covered so it doesn’t get dirty and you can lock it so it doesn’t accidentally come open during travel. I don’t drink cold water so insulation is not a factor for me.

I love this water bottle. The size is perfect, it definitely doesn't leak, the mouth piece is cushioned and it is true to color. BUT what am I doing wrong? It is VERY hard to suck the water out! I have started unscrewing the top a bit in order to get the water to come up the straw every time I take a drink. Kind of makes the hands free aspect a moot point and that's really why I bought it. I love the idea of not touching the mouth piece in order to open it and the button that pops the mouth piece up. If only I could get more than a drop of water at a time it'd be great! Any thoughts? What am I missing? There should be an air hole somewhere to release the suction.

I use this every day. It is easy to clean, attractive looking at very easy to carry around. My hands are always full and that is never a problem carrying this water bottle. My favorite feature is the handle which can attach to a belt, a bike or your hand. I’ve dropped it a few times and it proves durable.

I like this old style of contigo bottle. It doesn’t leak (I’ve ordered plenty and never had a problem). I’ve read other reviews saying it leaks when it’s open and you tip it upside down… of course it does there’s liquid in the straw! It’s designed to drink upright so don’t try to tip it or pour it while you drink and you won’t have a problem with the sound of the vent or leaking.

I was given one of these water bottles on a Mission/Outreach trip. I liked it so much I bought another one. It is spill proof. It is also easy to drink from as the straw pops open. It's easy to use while driving or working outside without getting anything foreign in the water. It closes easily and is easy to clean in the dishwasher.
