Easy to assemble and seems to be able to detect as described.

Bought it to help find a friend's phone lost in the field, which it definitely helped with (though we ended up spotting it first)Will be a fun toy to take out places but I'm not looking into doing any serious detectoring.Is very light and you can set the sensitivity level.

Do not buy these !!
This item was of very poor quality, and extremely overpriced for the quality of the product. The metal detectors are plastic. Not worth the money paid at all. Bought metal detectors from a popular high street toy shop which were half the price of these ones and much better quality. Would not recommend.

It does not detect a coin 20mm deep
I used it to test black 'cable' to see if it was water or live electric. It worked ok for this. However the need was urgent and despite Amazon's promise to deliver by 1pm, it did not arrive until 2.30pm. Assembly instructions were poor.

Don't bother
Useless! Couldn't find a coin uncovered on the floor, so what hope for finding anything? Give it a miss!
