Yes it's pricey, but you get what you pay for, works flawlessly with the Philips Hue app and has good brightness ,quality is great and has a good colour gammet to choose from. Easy to control through the app or available switches.

I’m a fan of good lighting and Hue products are top of the pile. The lighting options are great. Easy to use with a bridge to control rooms and lighting effects in a coordinated manner.

It's expensive for a bulb, but considering it's very bright 1600lm and the smart features, I'd say it's justifiable. The big downside of this is you need to buy the bridge too which quickly adds to your expense. I think it's also misleading how it says it's 1600lm but that's only the case for certain hues, and if you were to select a colour, you'd never be able to achieve it, but I don't normally need those colours anyway (ambient would be sufficient but I do enjoy being able to select a warmer/orangey light at times). I enjoy a bright white light for working, and a nice warm light for the evenings so this is good enough for me. I run a smart home with home assistant, so I have this wired into that server where it acts as the brain of the house. I've set up automations where the brightness will change throughout the day - I'm sharing to give hints on what you can achieve with the "smart" aspect, but any bulb could be used for this. I only used the apps initially to set up and have completely switched to homekit and homeassistant for my day to day. I've rated it 4/5 because of the price and it feels like I'm paying a premium for the brand, and I'm already fairly invested as I have the bridge and the buttons.

great lights, still works as first day

The colour choice of light is amazing. The white and warming light hues are great too. Easy to control via the Phillips Hue app and can be controlled via smart speaker (Alexa and google home). Well worth the money and the quality is great as well!

Great lightbulb. Compatible with ZigBee/Home Assistant. Unfortunately, it's impossible to turn off Bluetooth on it, and CRI in white is not very high, but the red colour is very clear.

I already have 14 of the 800 Lumen colour hue bulbs and they're great. I just decided I needed a brighter one for the kitchen and this one is noticeably brighter and illuminates the space better. So it has achieved what I wanted

Je vouais remplacé des Philips Hue 800 lumens qui pour mon salon n'étaient pas assez lumineux pour éclairer correctement. Après beaucoup de recherches, je n'ai pas vu grand monde comparé les deux. Pour ceux comme moi qui veulent passer d'une hue 800 à cette hue 1600 lumens, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés il y a un vrai gap de luminosité. Il faut cependant faire attention à une chose, c'est la taille de l'ampoule. La hue 1600 et beaucoup plus imposantes que sa petite sœur, et cela peut poser problème avec certains types de plafonnier .
