Works great!
I tried everything to try to stop my carpet runners from moving all over the place on my wall to wall carpet. It was so annoying to have to keep putting them in place. I put 3 strips, one across both edges and one across the middle. i even repositioned it 3 times and it stays in place. It's very heavy duty tape and had no problems cutting it and it was easy to use. I didn't find any residue when I pulled it off to reposition it so it checked all the boxes for me.

BEST & A GREAT PRICE
Bought this a couple of years ago and I'm at the end of the roll, been using it for various projects around the house. This tape is just fantastic. First, it's inexpensive compared to other brands, it isn't thick but it is strong and sticky, just what you need to get things to stay in place. I used this for a room full of carpet tiles that had no backing (all cloth) and it did the job perfectly and there are still no problems with the tiles. They are in place and haven't moved at all, and they get vacuumed every day. And you don't need a lot, I put five pieces on each tile, one in the middle and on the four corners and it does the job. I also did my basement with tiles and with those, I bought thicker ones with rubber backing but they would move on the painted floor. So I used the tape (two big pieces top and bottom of tile and it worked perfectly, again. No more slippage and the high traffic areas are holding up well. I would recommend cutting with scissors, it works the best for me and get a bottle of goo gone and clean them often. But if you get big and sharp ones, you can cut in one snip and that works well. If you don't and leave a bit, it is hard to cut without a piece of the tape sticking to the scissors. The cloth mesh of the tape is strong and if you even have a little piece you didn't cut, you can't rip it off, you need to cut it or you will ruin the piece. If it sticks to itself, you won't get it undone. Carefully apply and then peel off the backing, which comes off easily at the corners. Trick is to press the tape firmly into what you want to stick it to and then just press down with your fingernail at the corner and crinkle it a bit and then peel it back. Tape is so sticky that it won't come off before the backing does. To remove, simply pull on the mesh and it will come loose, but you will need some goo gone to clean up any residue. Very pleased with this product and I'm about to get another roll.

Works fantastic!
I wasn't so sure about this product when it arrived but let me just say, it works perfectly! I have used in the laundry room to hold down the rug there, and in the kitchen over hardwood to hold over a long runner. It has done fantastic on both of those runners, and also to help hold down an extra large living room rug and to keep the corners from curling. It really is a great product, it's very sticky and easy to use, I would lay one of the tape sides against the rug before you take off the top piece it helps it stays smoother and you're not stuck with two sticky sides immediately. It is definitely an excellent value, and it also comes up easily and leaves no residue on either hardwood or my other floor surfacings.

Sugarman Creations = GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I bought this tape to secure a 3x5 walk-off mat to a 3x5 pad. The tape did not do the job for me, however, I would buy from this company again in a heartbeat. I used 15 sq ft of it, so I didn't return it or demand a refund. I did post a review that expressed my frustration and I gave the tape a low rating. I was surprised when Sugarman Creations contacted me about the review. They expressed their concern about the low rating and asked for information about what kind of surface I used it on, saying they wanted to use the info to improve the tape. The representative asked for the chance to correct the problem by sending me a full refund. The only thing they asked in return was the info I mentioned and my feedback about their company in an edited review. The refund was processed and credited to me within just a few days! This is a quality company that stands behind their products! ADMIRABLE!!! Excellent Tape for Carpet Tiles
I used Sugarman Creations Professional Grade (4โ wide) double sided carpet tape for installing carpet tiles onto a wooden subfloor and it worked great. It is super sticky and adhered well to both the floor and the carpet. The carpet holds well during vacuuming the floor and in normal use. I also used some of the remaining tape at other locations to hold down door/floor mats, even on concrete. Works great! I highly recommend Sugarman Creations Professional Grade double sided tape for installing carpet tiles and to hold down door mats. My technique: 1. I used the 4โ wide tape, to allow a little more latitude for arranging the tiles and a little more adhesion per tile. 2. First, determine how you are going to lay out the tiles. See at least 3 online how-to videos. Go with the 2 out of 3 best recommendations. 3. Make sure the subfloor is clean. 4. Draw some guidelines on the floor to ensure you get started straight and parallel to the walls. 5. I put an approximately 6โ long piece of 4โ wide tape where each of the corners of the first tile will go; and at the center of the edges where the first tile will go, overlapping each tile edge line by 2โ (using 4โ wide tape). Peel the tape from the roll and cut to ~6โ; place the now sticky side down; peel the backings off when you are ready to place a tile. 6. Place the first tile down, making sure it is straight to your guidelines. When you place a tile, do so by one edge first as the tape will immediately grab and hold the tile in place. The tape is very sticky but you can carefully remove and redo a tile. You can also remove and replace a piece of tape if necessary. Thereโs plenty on the roll. 7. I overlapped the tape by 2โ at each corner and edge so that it would hold the tiles to the floor and to the adjacent tiles. That way you also have to cut and stick half as many pieces of tape. Thatโs why I used the 4โ wide tape. You can, of course, put tape across the entire edge of each tile if you prefer. 8. Repeat the process for each tile. 9. See how-to videos on how to measure and cut tiles. I was very lucky in that the room I carpeted was perfectly square and almost exactly an even fit for 24โ carpet tiles. But I still had to cut tiles, especially in a closet and around door trim. If you measure and cut precisely enough, you might be able to avoid removing any woodwork or trim.

Works perfectly once you figure out how to cut it cleanly.
I used it to install carpet squares and, once applied, it works perfectly. The 4โ size is more than wide enough to secure squares side-by-side. I needed to pull up and re-position a few squares and they came up easily with the tape staying on the floor but then still adhering securely when I pressed the pieces down again. I pulled a couple strips of tape up from the wood floor to see how easily theyโd come off and if you go slowly the tape comes up cleanly in one piece without leaving residue. The only problem was with cutting the tape piecesโฆmy scissors were getting gummed up pretty much immediately. I found that if I kept a wet cloth handy and wiped the scissor blades each time they would slice much more cleanly but my god I probably wasted 10 linear feet of tape before I figured that out. Also if the tape touches ANYTHING before you press it flat you should immediately give that strip up. Itโs gone and you canโt save it now.

The best there is!
The best there is. I have fast dogs who run crazy in the house and take corners like Mario Andretti. This is the only stuff thatโs ever held my carpet runners on both the vinyl and tile flooring here. Has lasted for years. Carpet never moves. Super easy to use too. Highly recommend!

Doesn't work on rug to carpet
I used this tape for a 10 ft runner on a medium thick carpet in a high traffic area. It worked for a day, then started to peel off. I tried using multiple 3 inch strips of tape with rounded corners all along the edge of the rug. I retapeed it a couple of times using more tape and it still didn't work. I think the carpet is just to thick and movable to stick something to.

Good Tape
This stuff does the job well. It really sticks the mats and runners down and leaves no opening for trips. Mine were done carpet to carpet and it stuck tight. I imaging if it was being used for timber or Lino etc. it would do an even better job. Very glad I bought it.

Great strength and holds carpets in place
Excellent quality and holds my rugs in place perfectly, even when the Dyson vacuum goes over it does not move!

Pega bien. Dificil de cortar
Pega muy bien. Es dificil de cortar con tijera. Se pega el adhesivo a la tijera y se enrosca. Seria mejor si tuviera papel de proteccion en ambas caras.
