Meguiar's Car Wash Plus+ is an entirely new approach to cleaning the exterior of your car. It's a fast and easy way to wash that doesn't require mixing with water in a bucket. You simply apply directly to your wash mitt, gently work into the paint, and rinse off. This revolutionary concept will ultimately save on time while gently cleaning and removing tough dirt, bugs and tar, and will even safely polish away light scuff marks. With this unique concentrated formula a little bit goes a long way giving you 20+ washes making it a wash plus+ a whole lot more.

Super slick and foamy
I actually really love this product and the application method. No need to fill up 2 buckets. Just rinse car, wet mitt, apply wash+, clean section then rinse car and mitt. I felt it had really good cleaning power and super slick and foamy. It also helped to lather it up on mitt some before hitting the paint. The car was very dirty and hadn't been washed in a month. No micro marring or swirls left behind. I washed after dusk so I can't comment on it drying out quickly if used while sun is out, but that's generally not a good idea anyway. The main benefit to me was ease of use, and cleaning power. It says it will polish out imperfections if you rub repeatedly in an area. I was worried it would strip or degrade the sealant ( Collinite 845) on the car, there does appear to either be some soap residue left behind ( like you get with Gold class or Turtle Wax) or it's degrading the sealant, as sheeting during the final low pressure rinse wasn't as good as the pre rinse. However I did try wiping it down after with some Wolfgang Uber Rinseless and beading returned, but I'm not sure if it's from what Uber is leaving behind or if it's cleaning off the residue from the Wash+. You can also use it as a traditional bucket wash soap at 1 ounce per 3 gallons, however I have not tried that. I'm a fan for sure! I think it's a great option for a pre Polish wash or pre wax wash as it does seem to be a powerful cleaner. I'll update after more use to get a definitive answer if it's stripping wax or not. I did contact Meguiars and asked them if it removes wax/sealantsKey learnings :Use a microfiber wash mitt. The chenille mitts don't lather up as nice with Wash+ and the lotion falls between the 'fingers'. With the microfiber mitt the entire surface is saturated with the Wash+ once you work it in a little bit either with your hand or in the paint.Rinse and wet the paint before touching the paint with the wash mitt with Wash +. I see some reviews where it seems the user is not pre rinsing the vehicle. That is not how the product was intended to be used. Pre rinse!Rinse your mitt after each section, that way you start with a clean mitt every time you start the next section.A little goes a long way, super concentrated, very high lubricity. It's amazing the amount of foam you get with Wash + and how thick it spreads across the paint.Read the instructions on the back of the bottle and follow them. ;)EDIT: I've gone through half the bottle know. I have washed the same 3 vehicles about 4 times each. I can say with a little more certainty now that this does indeed degrade/strip wax and sealants. 1 car had Collinite 815, 1 had Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and the 3rd car had Pinnacle Souvern. All done just prior to using Wash+. They have all completely lost beading and sheeting, water just stays flat on the surface. Personally it's not a huge turnoff for me, it's just more of a pre LSP wash then a maintenance wash. It will have its place in the detailing arsenal.

Does EVERYTHING Meguiars claims it to do.
I am a professional mobile detailer, and have been looking for ages for a soap, other than Dawn, that removes residual gunk and waxes/sealants from a car's paint before applying new product. Nothing ever works as well as Dawn dish soap, which is typically a no-no to use on vehicles, particularly because it dries out rubber and plastic trim. However, this is hands down the best car soap I have EVER used for this purpose, and it does everything Meguiars claims it to do. I was skeptical at first, but not only does it remove old product when used properly, but it also removes minor scratches and blemishes as claimed. Mind you, these have to be very superficial to be removed by this soap, but it does work.I recorded this to ANYONE as it is really hard to screw up the use of this, as long as you follow the directions as stated on the bottle. One word of caution though - I found that the nozzle on the bottle leaks very easily, so keep it upright at all times.

... a shampoo/bug tar cleaner as it does a way better job as a paint prep wax/sealant stripper
I'm not sure why Meguiar's is marketing this as a shampoo/bug tar cleaner as it does a way better job as a paint prep wax/sealant stripper. i've stripped off carpro reload, dodo juice hard wax, Menzerna Power Lock Polymer sealant, p21s, etc. you name it and it will come off with car wash plus with just a few hand motions.

Awesome stripping wash
This is not your regular car shampoo. I would not recommend this for maintenance washing as is strips wax. Makes this a very good option for prep washes for polishing/waxing.The thickness of the suds on this product is amazing. Although I do suggest that you use a mitt like meguiars white wash mitt. The regular chenille mitts don't provide suds as well. While allot of people get rid of buckets for this wash I still have 2 buckets. As I'm a bit anal and paranoid. Just squeezed some of the sampoo into the wash bucket along with putting it on the mit.I can't really say that this is going to polish anything out maybe if you worked it enough. I would just leave that to dedicated products. But it does excel at removing wax and leaving a clean surface.

Meguair's Car Wash Plus
I like using the Meguiar's Car Wash Plus when I detail a car. I use this as my soap and it helps to clean up the car well. I can get rid of bugs, the small tar specks, and other stains with this product. I liked it so much I bought a few to have on hand. The only issue I have is that this will remove waxes and sealants or at least diminish their effectiveness. I would use this for a car wash if I knew I was going to put on a fresh layer of sealant and wax.

Nothing wash and cleans like this! Very good prep shampoo
Have been looking for a shampoo like this, cleans well, remove a lot of bug and tar with a single wash. Very nice to use before routine waxing or even a full detail. I found that after washing with this soap, there's like 70% lesser contaminants pick up by clay bar. Overall statisfied with this product. *PS: I don't think it should be used weekly as it does strips wax, sealant, excellent prior to wax.

For the price and what it does nice product for your aresonal
Wow this stuff works great. I am very impressed. In auto sales business i come across alot of cars that need paint correction. For those customers who dont wanna spend a lot of money to do paint correction. This a perfect alternative. Just give the car a regular wash with car soap. Then put this wash plus right in the car wash mitt and rub right into the surface. Its not gonna work miracles but it is worth having in your aresonal for auto detailers. Also works great if you do this right before you clay car. Good product by meguiars and a great price

BEST STRIP WASH EVER!!!
This is NOT a MAINTENANCE WASH!!!! BUT this is the best STRIP wash I've ever used PERIOD. You want to use this before you clay and polish. let me tell you it will take wax and sealants off pretty easily. If you're a pro detailer then you NEED this. I don't know why this is advertised as what it is.

Too many Chemicals
Didn’t really notice anything different than regular car shampoo, except the price. Bought two bottles 6 months ago and will not buy again. Too many harsh chemicals that can cause damage to your body.. nobody wants to wear a glove whilst washing their car.
