Race Ramps 2-Piece 67" XT Car Service Ramp, Tire Lift for Low Profile Vehicles, Solid High-Density Foam for Non-Skid Loading, Set of 2

I don't like how expensive these are. That said, they do work well. I got the RR_XT-2 67-inc XT 2-piece ramp for my 2004 BMW 330Ci (which couldn't even *attempt* to climb a traditional metal ramp) and they worked perfectly. I immediately found a problem my mechanic had missed (multiple times) and fixed it, which pretty much made the ramps pay for themselves. I have left my car parked on these ramps for a week now, and they show no signs of deforming or crushing. They're doing just as well as when I first drove up on them, and I expect that to continue. The two-piece units are not only easier to store, they're also easier to get out of the shipping box and easier to wrangle into your garage. They also allow removal of the ramp portion after your car is on the stands, easing side-access, which is quite nice. So if you have any doubts, please get the two-piece units---they're definitely worth the extra money. (Also remember, you can resell them on eBay for that same extra money when you're done with them!) All in all, yes, a good purchase, and one I can heartily recommend if you're interested in getting under your low-slung car...

The extra length of the ramp makes it easy to drive the car up onto them. No issues with clearance on a 2019 Lexus ES-350. They stay put during loading. I got the two piece ones with the removable ramp portion which allows more room for work. They are nice and light which also makes it easy to lay them out for use and put away for storage. I feel secure working under the vehicle with these. I don’t mind paying extra for quality tools, especially when safety is involved.

Very expensive, but they are worth it if you do work on your own car that won't clear standard ramps. My car does not sit super low, but it still had no chance of clearing standard "parts store" ramps. With these I have some breathing room if I decide to put a little drop on my car. In the meantime, I have extra clearance on a nice level concrete drive, or I'm still able to use these with my car even if it is on my slightly uneven gravel drive. The two-piece ramps are great since you can remove the lower portion to give yourself extra room when changing front diff or transmission oil etc. I gave away my old parts store ramps and use these not only for my car that needs it, but also for other cars or SUVs. I am a big fan of safety redundancy, so I'll still set up jack stands if I'm going to be under the car for more than a few seconds, but I feel more secure with this solid material than I did relying on the welds and bends of el cheapo metal ramps. I paired these with the two-piece 10" wheel cribs for the back. In my case, my jack does not go high enough to actually get the car onto the full 10" cribs haha. Yet everything is low enough that I can't get enough wood etc under the jack to fix this problem. So realize if you are pairing these with cribs you might need to borrow or buy a different jack to make it work (or you could consider going with shorter ramps / cribs. All in all, in a perfect world I would have a garage in which I'd install an inexpensive home service lift. I do all my own work to the extent my skills and tools allow, and it would make things a lot easier. However, previously we were renting (and now don't have a garage) so in the absence of that, I really enjoy these ramps. The only other thing I would consider is a full-car jack. These similarly end up costing around a thousand bucks. The advantage of the full length jack is that you get all four wheels off the ground relatively quickly and easily, so tire rotation and brake bleeding are not such a pain. The advantage of these ramps is you have a lot more room to crawl around under the car. So really neither is perfect. These are more compact and I'd rather have to deal with more work and time wasted during tire rotation and brake bleed vs not having the space I need under the car.

Makes oil changes easier. These are super light in weight and are not hard to store away at all. They are wide enough for those who run wider wheels and tires. They cleared my 18x9.5 wheels easily. These might cost a lot but they are great tools.

Yes they are pricy, but they are absolutely worth it. If your car is lowered this is a must have. Quality is top notch, no slip and easy to move. Two piece is the way to go so you can have room to move around. Easy to store. Good width for wide tires. Fuctions perfectly to allow enough room to work under the car.

I cant speak to the long term durability of these but they are great. I was skeptical at first because they were lighter than I anticipated. They also have a little squish to them, but they held up great for my F-150. The drive-up was the smoothest I've ever felt in a ramp. No curve to make you play with the peddle balancing between too much gas and not enough. Just.... smooth. I think that is partly due to the squish I mentioned. I plan to use them on my 2008 Acura TL (A-spec) soon. It is very low to the ground with a long front end but I have already tested and these ramps reach the tires before hitting the bumper. I didnt realize how much taller these were than my old plastic ramps. I always had to jack the car and slide those ramps under. Even with the added height of these, the added ramp length makes them perfect. I will add that there was only ½ inch of clearance left when the ramp met the tire. These are bare minimum for my car but they make extenders for ~$180 if needed. I know they are expensive but if there are no better options, what are you gonna do? I recommend the investment if you have ever had issues with regular ramps.

If you plan on doing your own vehicle maintenance these are a must. And not just oil changes. I used these to do a transmission fluid change and rear diff fluid change. Also used them to do some undercarriage detailing. Yes they are expensive but you can buy these or get 4 oil changes at the local quick oil change spot and hope they put the correct oil in and correct filter and don’t strip your plug. Im about as dense as they come and even I can do basic maintenance, so you can too. The best feature about these ramps are how high they get the vehicle, the ability to remove the ramps while the vehicle is on the block and how SAFE they are. Jack Stands can and do fail (see Harbor Freight stands) but if you chalk your wheels with these ramps you are very very safe. Only downside is you will need a spotter to help you drive up them without driving over them. But that’s what neighbors are for.

I've been using a metal ramp and it has been showing signs of rust and use. I work on several vehicles and on some, the bottom of the car body rubs against the ramp before the tires reach the incline. Plus, the metal ramp will slide along the garage floor/concrete unless one puts down a strip of old carpet or other type of material. Due to many of the above , I decided to look for something more safe. Before purchasing the 2 piece 67" Race Ramps, I consider what many did, which was to build my own using wood. I can use it without fear because wood can withstand an incredible amount of force/pressure. The only two issues for me was it would be very heavy to store, place out, and move around. Also, I don't have any 2 x 6 or 2 x 12 wood on hand so I would need to purchase it. Buying the wood would end up a fraction of what the Race Ramps cost (probably 25% of the cost) but wood is still expensive and the ultimate deterrent was the weight of the ramps after assembled, it would be very heavy, and harder to store and maneuver around. Ordered the Race Ramps, and once received, I gave them a try out. They passed with flying colors. Four individual pieces, each one very light weight, stacked on top of each other, they take a smaller amount of space in my small garage. Low enough incline on the ramp, all the vehicles I work on can climb without any body part hitting the ramp. The ramps are also an incredible 14" wide and once on the ramp, lift the bottom of the tires off the ground, a nice 10". The 14" wide ramps give me additional confidence get going onto the ramps without worrying about if I am going on too much to one side or the other, with my older ramps, I feel like I'm on a tightrope, with these, I feel like I'm on a wide plank. The 10" height gives me plenty of room to extend my arms, scoot under, and that's something I can't get with building my own wood ramps, unless I build up many layers. The ramps also do not slide due to the grippy coating applied to them. I can back up on the ramps or drive forward on to the ramps, either way, I feel 100% safer than the cheap plastic ramps or metal ramps. I no longer have to rev up to go up a ramp and fear of overshooting it, these ramps allow me to slowing creep up, extra piece of mind. With plastic ramps, they can give at any moments notice, once the plastic is compromised, they can crack and buckle, with metal ramps, I feel if the weld goes, they also can fold because of the lack of support. I chose this model over the others in the Race Ramp line due to the wider support, higher ground clearance, ease of working on the car because of the removable incline ramps once the vehicle is on the ramp. I didn't give it the highest rating because the high price factor. This should be able to be priced lower without affecting the quality of the product. Still, I would recommend these if you can afford them and especially if you work on a multiple amount of vehicles. These give the piece of mind and the larger margin of error for use and I'm glad I found these on Amazon. I also purchased the RR wheel chocks and provided a review on them separately. Great product light weight easy to move around. Ramps stay in place when rolling vehicle onto them even on concrete floor

I've always wanted a set of these along with their RR-WC-10 10" wheel cribs, but shipping them from the US was always an arm and a leg. Found these on Amazon.ca one day with free shipping and couldn't resist. Each piece will support 1,500 pounds and they work great with both my lowered Z06 and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Make sure you buy a set of their chocks too for safety. I ordered part number RR-WC-2.

These are fantastic ramps. They are light enough to easily move them around. They stack easily to store. My 2 VW's are very low to the ground and these ramps work perfectly without touching.

The race ramps are very easy to use, they are light weight and easy to store. My car was raised sufficiently to make the oil change extremely easy, I had plenty of room under the vehicle to access the oil pan and filter.
